what is up everybody welcome back to the second round of the 2019 winters last blast in Vernon Texas at Hillcrest Country Club so far we got a pretty close battle between Kota Hatfield and Dillon balance they only made some moves he's sitting a little too back from CODIS in 11 covers at 13 Steve is at 8 and then we got a Billy angle at 7 I'm going straight into it we are at hole lovin this is par-3 266 feet there is a forehand lined through this center gap and then there also is a sky-high Zuerlein over the right side as well and that sidewalk behind the basket so B I think I believe it's the Hansen yeah that's a pretty good shot from Dylan yeah Dylan was puting really well really made a key adjustment from that first round yeah so definitely did he's pulling it back together I was going with that spike hyzer line and just squeaks right behind that tree and is right there steve film that ricky destroyer nice and low it's kind of sawed it off a little bit but still got a putt yeah not the best role but there's only about five feet Billy he's doing that real low but it's getting a nice skip dude it looked like he barely know I do that how did it get so much rotation on it yeah yes a little bit hand side just a tad bit left he definitely needed that putt with Cota looking at a drop in breaking oh me and that's a terrible rose that's too bad roll trim in a row you know off to dry wasn't that bad but that wasn't very friendly mmm-hmm your Steve to save par yeah he needs this to stay in it just a little bit too low yeah that's frustrating maybe should have pulled an Andy and took Annie to level out the bass right Tina making up that I remember no I don't know go just keep shredding he's taking a stroke back from doing hole 12 this is a par 3344 feet you really just want to throw a you throw a spike hyzer forehand or you can throw a low skip shot a little skip shots a little bit more risky because that fence does play OB but yeah forehand route yeah I like to just like it in there myself yeah it looks pretty money oh yeah basically the exact same shot at the first round yeah mm-hmm though is a blunt he's taking the Heiser route yep whoa and that looks way wide there and he is definitely open yeah yeah definitely a grip lock or something went wrong there he's doing oh god he's just ho be that so be as well I don't even see that I'll have a pretty close look to save us three well that gives Steven zero confidence seeing two guys right in front of me go be alright but he still makes didn't it puts it literally under that's literally how to have a skewed as under s you can possibly be Billy going long there yeah so here's Dylan for three yeah he needs this do yes his confidence is absolutely back right now and he's killing his pots yeah good three safe from Dylan he was Billy for his four save and they even that's that's like twe you know 20 feet headway huh just four double okay good here we go ooh that is not the hole to be taking doubles on definitely not good with nice birdie they're putting him at 15 and he is now four strokes ahead of Dylan Steve just dropping in the birdie hole 13 this is a par-3 318 feet there is a low Heiser skipper out on the right side which is a very risky but there is also a dead straight fairway driver to mid-range shot depending on what you like to throw and then there also is a forehand route on the left side but that one is pretty risky as well because of the OB green yeah hey Kota got that a lot lower than you wanted to looks like yeah see it's going for that forehand not surprised and breaking out the Riki destroyer again oh yeah always and that was tracking towards the basket but yeah that branch and he's gonna be well short now yep pretty simple up shut up I'll hit the tree oh just barely yeah it's a little bit too high yeah I'll have a pretty easy up shot from there that's a pretty unconventional round was he trying to don't ya turn over on the right on the left side that is wild yeah that's uh I wish it worked out cuz I would that be a cool line yeah it up shot from Steve he's Kota and be able to tap in for par they're dealing I'm sure is trying to give this a little bit of Iran go woody daddy does yeah that's a good run it's gonna be tapping in for three as well if it just kind of seems out of it right now yeah just left it left that double might have gotten in his head a little bit yeah that happens especially on a hole like that too you know you know he's got a little extra RPMs going on between the ears yeah looks like Stephen covered up that top half of the tracksuit yeah hey you know par fur coat as well is that a start par I believe it was exhaust our power all right hole 14 this is a par 3 345 feet you really just want to throw a fairway driver dead straight maybe with a slight turn because it's it's if plays a lot longer than what it looks like yeah either slide turn or you really got pushed that right side and yeah yeah you see a lot of Heiser's right into the water mm you really gotta push that thing as straight as possible yep and that does not look very promising yeah that although but it ends up okay yeah it's great yeah he's a maybe just outside the circle from there this is looking really good from Steve if it can fade out and it doesn't looks like it's still stay in bounds though yeah there's gonna be a tricky tricky lie mm-hmm oh no skip off the low skipper was so ever it was just coming in on too much of a high sixties yeah yeah but that was gonna be a great shot he really needed that one too yeah Billy at early release there stays with it stays inbounds yeah that was actually gonna be OB on the left side of the that car path yeah they hit the tree it's a decent upshot from doing a little bit shorter than you wanted yes Billy Oh Oh what how does that you see Chris's reaction the back that's priceless how does that not stay in I don't know like it looked like the chains were literally grabbing the disc and then just spit it right out just and man yeah that's unfortunate that would have been a great just like conference but yeah yeah Kota just a little bit too high skipping off the top but should be able to save his par this is Dylan to save his par and just left side that baskets a little bit angled on the hill too so ginger hi Wow I've totally forgot that happened yeah that's brutal dude Steve's had some bad luck this round so far yeah he really has had spit outs but that's disc golf and you just gotta you know keep it moving keep pushing the up no koto good par safe from him and double-bogey from Dylan Billy tapping in the par after the brutal spit out almost had a nasty throw in there but yeah all right a whole 15 this is a par-3 241 feet you really just want to throw a hyzer over these small trees on the right side and just have it spiked up next to the basket yeah the only difficult thing is if the blind shot yeah but you know these guys have ready played this hole before so should be pretty easy for him yep this is a one of the muskets that's a good one he's going way up there you know I worked and yeah that's totally fine here we got Billy lost that one into the sky and that's fine he'll be 35 maybe longer yeah yeah I'd say like 4550 in that little hill he's gonna try to find the middle ground here oh my I knew someone was gonna hit it and you were just talking about yeah human knees having bad luck I mean he can't get the power lines like come on man yeah that's never a good feeling you hit one of those things don't let me be wall short as well over there by Billy you know Steve's just pinched got a natural would be right here a decent up shop where he was at oh yeah Billy's got quite a whisk oh yeah and just a little bit left for Billy Dylan needs this putt whoa oh yeah that's how you want to hit those chains yeah and even though he made liek hard first round like you can tell a like a massive difference between this round right here and last or last room is so many other there we go was that OB yeah well I guess there's OB otherwise yeah cuz that second was his first there done yeah Billy settle in for par and Kota just happen in for par as well but will still hold the five stroke leave yeah he's dealin he's trying to stay ahead yep hole 16 this is a par 3 410 feet you really just want to throw a big Heiser over at the right side you want to get make sure you get behind this tree on the right and you'll most likely have a look yeah just really trying to skip it up there mm-hmm I guess the forehand is in play too if you got a bomber forehand right yeah and you step up on this tee and it doesn't really look for you know 410 but it definitely is it definitely is put a full shot on this oh yeah this hole cut up pulling out that a list of pro night I bagged like for those at one point remember that really yeah I was like instead of my defenders I had those and I was like bro so I had like four or five of them in the air at one point their goodness they argue they're not quite as stable as defenders though yeah it always depends on the plastic too though yeah cuz that's like my fusion defended I think broke in pretty fast yeah Billy's gonna be well short there I'll have a long putt for his bird Steve's breaking out that ricky destroyer once again I missed the tree and he does all right yeah still short though yeah he's pretty short he'll be about 45 Billy not sure if he's trying to run that but it was just kind of going little safe runs yeah throw it up if it goes then hooray if it if it doesn't know that I like that that looked really good yeah just Kota for the bird boom yeah you kind of like plus like from the side yes that yeah very unique very effective you know dealing with the nice birdie keeping up there you know that's kind of like putting now you just kind of have to like memorize that yeah you have like that certain the line that you throw and you have to adjust your body accordingly oh yeah I remember like I totally thought I put it normal like a couple years ago and I saw a video I was like okay there's way more movement than I thought there was like arms going like all over the place yeah but it feels nice so that's the beauty of watching replays of yourself then you can adjust yeah you know whole seventeen this is a par-3 339 feet once again very similar to that last hole you really just want to throw a hyzer over this right tree there is also a slight turnover shot on the left side as well yeah but it definitely plays a longer than 339 for sure yeah it's it's definitely in the fours Damon's putting out a low shot and that needs to skip up and that's that's okay he'll be a pin-high about 40 left yeah 40 right right yeah yeah yeah coat it with that ballista Pro and that needs to get past that tree oh just barely caught it but it still has a putt yeah that made it seem like if you missed that true yells under the best yes oh yeah absolutely and I mentioned that first round but we haven't really seen that many great drives on this hole no and I'm not just like the cars that we filmed like just I I've been like washing around and yeah no one's really seen to be executing ever no this is one of the few four hands I've seen here this is looking pretty good still short though yeah man this hole it's so weird every 39 yes no no no I don't know if I believe that yeah those temp courses like I don't know I feel like that distance are a little bit a little bit off give and take yeah there's Steve or - Steve needs this one oh yeah so close just the early left yeah it's kind of yank that one a little bit no chance for Dylan needs this just a tad bit low come up to tap-in for three as well looks like we got a star power lined up here do you know how old Dylan is he was I think he's uh 26,000 say he looks pretty young yeah somebody said he was born in 1993 I think it was plain but yeah yeah that's when I was born so how nice I'm assuming same age as me I am actually 14 yeah you're 14 years old I know what I know yeah I guess you'll take a par on this all yeah not really ideal cuz it's it's very much the aerator for sure but oh yeah well it seems everyone's playing it like it's very difficult you know hole 18 this is a par 3 290 feet I'm very similar to hole 15 you're pretty much just throwing spike hyzer on the right side of this telephone pole or you can throw a dead straight putter mid-range shot but you really want to take that left side of the fairway out of play as much as you can in Dylan's kind of saying what you were saying not to do yep play nice win a tie and he's risking some branches and yeah luckily he's like the outer skirts of those trees but if you're in there like deep it is no bueno yeah you are looking at a bogey there's a great shot from Kota Billy throwing the same line yeah about 20 short mm-hmm Steve pumping it up way high and perfect there we go Yellin found a line I'll say luckily he had a way he had a gap in there yeah cuz I went in there whenever we played a little practice round and even birtija no I didn't either maybe both I played it I took a bogey this Oh Lord no oh gosh we're so good went for the went for the dead straight shot don't do it plenty of room on that right side so I didn't play the white Heisman I still shanked it yeah you're Steven tapping in his birdie don't spit out Dylan tapping in his par as well and luckily the weather for the final round which is the next day for these guys was like a bajillion times better than the previous day yeah way nicer outside yeah it was it was ridiculous it was so shy I hope we don't have to film tournament in that weather ever again yeah it was pretty miserable but we do it for you guys yeah we still a great time no yeah in the gnome it was like okay I want to go inside yeah all right I hold my team pretty simple hole most people will be opting for the forehand because you really want to take that water on the left side out of play yeah you want to finish away from the water yep then of course you have kota just thrown the thumber over the top which takes everything out of play yeah I was a beautiful shot you know he has success with the first round and why not do it again so Steve's doing that Ricky destroyer ooh that'll work yeah the back end is probably better for like landing purposes without you know getting like weird Souls yeah yeah cuz the forehand if you're coming on that hillside hard it can pop up and do some weird stuff yeah that's a great shot from Dillon looks like Billy's going for the forehand as well oh that is a get some fade too turned over and he's gonna be out of bounds there he's gonna have a long putt to save his three let's hope he can cane it oh it looked so good the entire way come on with a tad bit too early this Kota to go 18 down yeah and just a little low there Steve Forbert steve-o oh my why am I saying I am saying he is the most unlucky person during this round wow I didn't see that I did that's and I was cringing pretty hard but look at that saying that's a fantastic save from where he was at absolutely but I mean oh yeah I just kind of pushed those right chains a little bit to our yeah a lot of these guys are just so close to putting together really good rounds yeah it's all the pudding yep and unlucky power line hits helped to roll ways into the water yeah true all right we are on to hole 20 par-3 291 feet you really just want to throw a dead straight putter mid-range shot and trying to hit this gap the gap is pretty tight I've seen people opt for the forehand around the left side as well yeah a little backdoor route yeah I try and get a skip up to the basket that's how it looks like kotas gonna be going with what are you through the last round mmm I can't member but yeah just got to keep it low and just kind of jam it in there yeah that's that's fine I mean literally going it into that tree is fine like 20 to 30 feet max yep Dylan's going for the forehand yeah and took a weird skip there this is looking nice from Stephen yeah play that little inside gap at the forehand yeah he's right there shouldn't have any spit outs from there yes Stephen I feel like Stephen went from like a there's like a normal advanced player to like an open player that cash is pretty frequently like with in like a year yeah like he adjusts it so quick to go field yeah uh-oh without event what's the little tree Nick to that hit the chains alright you don't want a little dirt you know I know some dirt on that basket it doesn't deserve it I wasn't gonna slow-mo that but like it just looked way too cool so I had to yeah you remind me of the LeBron James before the games you like the cost of powder job yeah yeah I hit the chains like exactly like that last putt yeah on the last hole just like so right side but yeah it was a nice birdie Kota has really just pulled ahead in these last few holes yeah all right hole 21 par three last hole of the round it's 240 feet you're really just taking an overstable fairway driver and putting it on a hyzer line trying to hug this fence and hoping you don't get any rollaways yeah we've seen this a lot a bit of rule was and yeah it happens pretty often yeah there's a pretty steep hill that the basket is on when you're forced to throw Heiser to so it's come in at the you know not the most ideal angle yeah yeah look at that it was going to what it was that stopped it hope Steve doesn't like hit a bird or something we need Steve we need to get an ace for Steve right here sit okay and that's not cool it is Billy not a similar line and that's perfect yeah this was looking nice as well should be right there Oh Nobby yeah ha ha ha ho sit down please ok I'll say ere we go get a nice correction from the first round he cashed it right into the but he made a fantastic birdie save yeah he did from like 60 or 70 Oh Stephen just a little bit left side yeah this just wasn'ts teased no not his around I've seen that dude play incredibly salty oh yeah same here oh yeah salty isn't lucky in a good way Kota it's happen in the bird puts him at 19-under par that's a lot under par and he could be way more under cuz he missed a birdie because 25 under par yeah no yeah yeah that's insane alright well that is gonna conclude the second round of the 2019 winters last blast Kota Hatfield just murdering it he's 19-under par left a couple out there Dylan's sitting at 12 and then we got Billy at 7 and Steve at 7 so yeah if you guys enjoyed make sure you hit that like and subscribe button
