Here we go with another Gothrow Tour event. We are right here in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for the 2026 Cactus Rock Classic. This is our first event stateside this year in our Gothro tour presented by Prodigy Disc. I'm your host Luke Humphre joined in the booth by Mr. Tall Paul Omen. We've got a special course here today. >> Yes. A very special piece of property that has been handcarved by some very special individuals and I was eager to get down here and check it out. I know you said it's a famous course. I've been hearing a lot about it. Happy to be here. Check it out for the first time. >> Yeah. There hasn't been a big tournament on this course yet. So, there's been almost no catch cam coverage. A lot of blind holes. A lot of people just don't even understand this one yet. So, we're happy to show you guys. And the man to show us really, Mr. Sold and Tipton coming from Birmingham, Alabama, just about an hour away. He's played here more than anybody in this NO division. So, I give him a little edge there. Jakeimer, go throw Tour champion over there at Pimmen Ridge. familiar to this program, got a ton of game, throws it really well. This guy right here is going to be the uh the new face for you guys this week. 16-year-old Jack Barry taking some courses at the University of Alabama so that he can play on their disc golf team. >> Incredible. >> Already got a couple wins this year, climbing up that rating. Looking forward to seeing him. And Mr. Adam Hamus, also a Gothro tour champion. We got some familiar faces, new face, but we've got this new course. I'm super excited for you guys to see it. And it starts with a par4, Paul. Yeah, the par4. Don't want to bite too much off on this first T. A lot of OB, some tricky landing zones. Um, you can really access a nice flat landing spot off the tee with a pit a putter or a mid-range and then just a nice saw off hiser on hole one. >> Teing off first. Let me hear it for Sullivan. Dipton. >> Yeah, that second shot you just kind of want to saw a hiser up the hill. Get you in a good position. >> Yeah, it's impossible. >> Impossible to miss that second shot left enough. >> Yeah. Yeah. I've only gotten maybe a round and a half out here, so I'm not super familiar with the course. This is pretty aggressive. He plays it along the out of bounds the whole entire way. >> He's a Goth throw tour champion already. Give it up for Jake Heenheimer. >> Jake, >> like you said, Sullivan has more rounds than anyone else here at the tournament and um showing us a little course knowledge there on hole one's T. Yeah, Sivan went straight fairway. Jake just going putter right here. >> That's the other option. All right, up next, local status. Give it up for Jack Barry. >> Yeah, I feel like taking on that kind of uh runway up the hill is just a bit more aggressive than you need to be. This gap's already a bit demanding. >> Worst case OB lurking everywhere. handing out our card, the pride of Wisconsin. Give it up for Adam Hams. >> Adam's game should set up well for this course. Forehand, backhand, you're going to need them both. We've seen that at Paul McBth Designs before. Really tests players angles and utilities. What do you got in the tank? gonna need all of it. >> Yeah, this course definitely demands the total package. >> Possibly more than any that I've ever played. Really, you have to be able to down tempmpo. We're going to see that on hole two. You got to be able to crush these drives to get yourself into good positions. Flip to flat, holding straight. That is insane. He stopped right there on a canyon. Ends up in a spot where he can get up and down. It's pretty good. >> Good speed control. >> Yeah, >> really about as good as I've seen it. >> Yeah, kind of that sawed off approach that we're talking about there. And the further you throw it, the further you end up from this hole because of how far left it really does fish hook around the corner. Being high and stally tend to seem to get the best results here. >> Yeah, well said. >> Slices through them. >> Little local knowledge there. Taking the shortcut. Yeah, unlucky with the trees. Starting off with a hole that's not too hard to par. Definitely tricky to birdie, but not throwing anything too crazy at the players to start, which I can appreciate. I think players should get off the tea. There's usually a crowd built around. We're not trying to make them look stupid right away. Just start your round and we'll challenge you later. >> Yeah. Just get people familiar with get players familiar with the terrain they're going to be playing on, some of the gaps they're going to be hitting throughout the day. Just a straightforward hole one here. Play a little golf. Get a look at a chance for birdie. Sullivan coming up just short, just a bit obstructed there. Yeah, the camera's not showing the elevation here. This is at least 10 foot uphill. Maybe 15 or 20. Just a little right. Did you know that Alabama was so mountainy? So wooded? >> I did not know it was mountainy. >> Yeah, mountainous is got a lot of terrain to it. I wasn't aware. Really surprising as I showed up here. Adam Hamus grabbing the birdie on one. It's a great shot and sneaking inside on that corner. Kind of think it might be the play. >> Yeah, definitely. I know you said got to got to have a stall to the shot. You don't really want to penetrate too far past the corner there. Just a terrible kick to start Jack's hole and uh doubles what you get out of it. Looks like Jake and Sullley both taking twos, excuse me, pars. And we head on to hole two. Onto hole two. >> It's a bit of a climb to get here. >> Yeah, not bad, but um get rewarded with this downhill shot here. Two two avenues to navigate. This is the uh right side gap. I think a lot of the righty backhand players are going to be chucking at this. Maybe something like a zone or a stable putter or something. get it to float down and just hiser at a certain point on the fairway and there's a nice forehand gap or a turnover backhand shot if you would like. Yeah, it feels like uh the forehand's the purest. Backhand's got to get a little stally. It's bigger, but uh if you want to control everything, >> forehand it is. And just a tight one not going to execute properly. That's a par at best, I'm guessing. Should be an easy one though. Sullivan, I'd just do what he does around this course. >> Yeah. Players wanting to focus on throwing down on this hole. >> Much too straight. Connects with a tree about pin high. Should be about edge of circle 2. 50 60 ft there. Interesting play here. Didn't even look at this gap. Jake showed up immediately. Saw it. Going to see a grenade. Heads up, Bob. All right. >> Goodness. Just a bit past the basket. Just outside the circle. Not a bad spot to be. Okay. Two forehands. >> Curious to know how many how many rounds Jack has out here. >> He's got a lot apparently. And uh I I tend to think this got to be one of the bigger rounds he's ever played now with a few touring pros on some gothrow coverage. >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, cameras always always bringing the nerves into play, ramping things up. Gothro's always got a nice uh competitive atmosphere, but I feel like a bit of a more relaxed atmosphere during tournament play out here. I love the sprint aspect of it, too. Two rounds. Come on. Little stepper from Soie. Let's see that again. Great tempo. Very natural step through motion. >> Yeah, not very jerky. Sullivan showing us that maybe you don't always get it done all the way off the tee, but keeping it nice and tidy with the putt, making good on the bird. >> Yeah, speaking of people that played good last week, Sullivan tipped in bit of a slow first round, then just came home firing. >> He finished up at eighth or something like that. A tie for eighth. >> Top 10 for sure. Yeah, maybe Jake was eighth and Sullivan was fifth. Something in there. >> Yeah, a couple couple hot names. And Adam Ham is one of the guys on tour that what happened the week before does not dictate what's going to happen this week. >> Absolutely. >> He could go from missing a cut to winning, vice versa. He's got all the skill sets to to make it happen any given week. One of my favorites because of it. Shows a very human. >> Yeah. When he finds his laser focus. >> Yeah. >> And he's tough to beat. >> Really? Truly. He's got it. He's got it both. Huge forehand and backhand. It honestly will set you up nice if you got them both here. Backhand off the tea set you about here. And because of this green and the OB left, I think the forehand second shot if you have it plays best into the hill. Can't move too far, right? What do you think? >> Yeah, I mean the T-shot is demanding. The upshot is demanding. The distance is somewhat demanding in the woods. I know you get a little bit of little bit of help with this elevated T, but um I got to think this is the start of like a pretty tricky run here in the course. I think I would like to see that marked OB up there. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Let the spectators chill up there. >> I think the spectators can still chill up there. Phil Mickelson hits it into the crowd three times around. What's wrong with playing out of the crowd? >> Just like a bailout zone kind of. be tricky to get the birdie from over there, but >> 100%. I I think it's the birdie is gone at that point. >> I you know, it's a beautiful beautiful T- shot. I don't nitpicking. >> This is a bit high. >> Is it? >> But just beautiful, >> Brian. That is exactly how you do it. >> And visit Tuscaloosa.com. Got to shout out the city of Tuscaloosa for having us. It's not just Alabama roll tide. It's also great disc golf. So, plan your trip. Get out here to the rolling hills and mountains of Alabama. >> Beautiful shot there from the local. It's kind of what I was thinking. About 250 ft back to a good position. He's just trying to line himself up on the hallway. Doesn't really do it that well. Yeah, but tricky tricky lie with some some fairway to cover. >> Same goal here from Adam. Even worse result there. >> Yeah, from him. Both those guys not putting themselves back into position to get that par. That's good. That just shows you. I mean, Jack threw a great drive. Good second shot. He's still about 150 out. It takes two huge shots to make this happen. Jake's 500 ft down here. >> Going F3, second shot, >> not taking the forehand in like you were thinking. >> And that's worst case scenario. Not only is he OB left, but that left side's kind of hard to get all the way down there on. >> What do you Why do you think he shied away from the forehand? >> Just may have been a bit far. >> An angle issue or something like that. Maybe >> could have been. You have to keep the backhand so straight because it's one of the fastest greens. >> Surely not. There's no way. That's really covering some ground. >> Stops before out of bounds, but that's that's 100 ft outside circle, too. Now, probably the best touch forehand approach player in the game right now. And he's got the love on his side. Yeah, he tends to throw that approach disc, that that stable putter either in or almost in nearly every round he plays. Jake off the pole with his A5, that good 750 plastic. He and I both like a lot of project pros throwing the A5. A lot of you guys throwing the A5 as well. I see it in a lot of bags these days for good reason. >> Good shot there from Jack. Going to tap in the par, which is a good score on a hole that plays 1.13 over. Hardest on the course, Paul. >> Yeah, there's trouble all over this hole. Take the stress out of it. Get your par. >> Yep. even tricky for some. I mean, Sullivan was a bit out of position off the tea. >> Yeah, they just didn't line themselves up right >> after two shots. >> Yeah, >> that third shot could have been a >> little tighter. >> A bit tighter, but yeah. >> How many birdies you think? Shoot. I would just say one just to be nice, but maybe none. >> That That would have been nice of you because you're exactly right. Zero birdies. Yeah. On hole three. >> It's a long long par4. >> Yeah, we got seven DGBT card holders here on site. Zero birdies on that hole. We'll see if they can do better tomorrow. But this starts the gauntlet. Paul 3456 averages about four strokes overpar. almost a stroke a hole. So really that par that you're getting if you hold on tight, you keep some strokes. >> Why was hole three not part of the gauntlet? >> Three, four, five, six. But >> okay, well this one here I feel like has a little more trouble. Can really rack up some strokes here. Just fighting your way up this hill. Got to land this T-OT in the middle and flat. Anything high and hisering out to the left is is in trouble. >> Yeah, that's a beautiful shot there from Jack. He's gotten around the corner. Can now head up to his right. This is in risk of not getting around the corner. Kind of a fortunate kick. Would have been pinched, I think. >> Yeah, needed to get that flat or even turning left a little bit. It's a understable. >> I believe it's a force. >> Still a good spot. I should be able to to get up to the basket from there even with that tree kick. >> Fun fact, Adam threw that disc 687 feet in a USDGC distance contest. Wow, this has got to stop drifting. Can it sit up top? Yeah, it kind of can. With Jake's power, he may be able to reach that from here. So can't get to the basket. This is really just position around the corner. Trying to do it better than he did last hole. End up with an easy approach. Should be good from there. >> Yeah, like you said, it's kind of this area here. The three, four, five, six, the gauntlet, if you will. >> Yeah. Four par fours that require two great shots for the birdie. Not one, two. >> It's not a bad place to take a par. >> Adam pushes the hallway too far. He's going to be left side. Straddle out forehand. I'm guessing from there. Jake uphill run up. This is going to be huge. Just nose up the whole way. unfortunately doesn't really penetrate but gets himself a look from the saplings. >> Yeah, he had a lot of ground to cover. Tricky footing with the pine straw there. Just needed a little more height maybe from Jack. Solid approach. He kind of That was a great shot around the corner. Angles were a bit off but he had what it took. So much for Annheiser. Forehand from Adam. Stand still. Straddle out backhand putter from him. This hill, I mean, it's just it's just so uphill. Such a specific landing zone off the tee and then you've really got to have the arm and the shape to get up to the basket for the bird. How many birdies on this one on the day? >> I'll tell you in a second. Oh, is anyone even working on one here? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, we got Jake Evenheimer over here in the corner. >> Just one. >> Thanks for not spoiling that. >> Mr. Austin Turner. >> Wow. The lefty plays on this hole for sure. >> Yeah. Solid. Nice. But like we said, the par picking up strokes, it's going to require such a good twoot combo to get that birdie that you don't really need it. Just don't do anything stupid, especially off the tea on this one. Sets up a very long hole. Jake, he's uh yet to grab the birdie and start his round up, but hole five great opportunity. Some nice artwork as well. Headed into hole five, Paul. Hole five. Tricky little par4 here. Really got to keep this T-shot in the center of the fairway. Don't have to get too aggressive off of the tee. Just looking to get the right placement. Whichever side you want to attack here, the fairway splits into two. A lot of the forehand players going to favor that left side really plays well to the shape of the green, the slope of the green. >> Yeah. And the right side I feel like is kind of a maybe if you missed your T-shot, got out of position, it's kind of a Hail Mary high stalling hiser shot. >> Yep. >> A lot of uh Twizzlers and things in the way. Really feel like that left side gap is is the pure gap for the second shot. So, this has been his favorite driver. Look at this thing. He's got eyes over the past couple weeks that I've seen. It's a lightweight force. He just gets on top of that one, goes through all the trees, comes back. He'll have that left gap, I think, preferred for the forehand. >> It's wild to see him throwing a faster disc here off the tee. He must have uh he must have some history with this T-OT and just knows that he can kind of just pump it and get to a spot that he can still attack. I kind of think this is what Paul McBth intended when he created the hole for a mid-range straight play that sets up a really big forehand on that left side. Getting greedy off the tea gets you out of position and you have nothing for that second shot if you just take a chill pill down tempmpo a mid-range up there. You can really go big on the second. >> That's exactly what I'm thinking. And Sullivan with his with his forehand prowess, I feel like that second shot, you know, just just get yourself in position and >> you should be able to carve up that left side. >> I hope that middle area never changes on this course in between those two fairways. I hope it stays terrible in there. Unfortunately, Jack finds himself in it, but that's where he should be. You got to stay in position on this hole. Yeah, I love that it has teeth in there. >> Yeah. And a huge drop off on the left side too that we haven't really even >> OB the whole way. >> It did not. Yeah. >> Yeah. This is a solid par4 here. >> A reason that it plays a stroke plus over par. >> It's kind of that like total total game par4 as well. >> Look at this. Look at this. >> Oh wow. >> Sit. Come on. How does it still roll? >> I haven't seen that one before. I've never seen that one before. >> Okay, I'm getting told it stays about 30 feet up the tree, down the tree, >> like perfectly. No wobble. >> Wow. Beautiful looking shot. Oh, it's so good. Come on. Oh, that's a full flight roll, too. >> And that one never stops. 80 feet it rolled. Unbelievable. >> Goodness gracious. Thought that angle was perfect. >> Jake pushing the back of the fairway and he'll have about a 40 50 footer. 50. >> Yeah, at least. I think >> it's looking like Jack just suiting to pitch out. Good position from there. Should be able to get it up and down. Stable putter approach. Want to land this thing flat. These guys don't know about the rollaways either. I'm sure you can't see that from back there on the fairway. So rolls up to that green thinking he could be parked. Man, I mean his, you know, he had the high angle. Did look like it was going to sit. Oh. >> Oh, Jake. Well, at least it's open. >> Not a bad bid. >> He landed a solid 15 above the basket. >> Totally did. Jake unfortunate three putt. Just got himself into those saplings. Pushed the fairway too long. Last look at a birdie here for the card. Get it >> bird on five. >> Yeah, he was screaming into the green too. Funky roll. There was exactly one of those Adam Hamus only birdie on the course today. Four whole five showing you how hard it's playing. >> Yeah. This is like I you know this is a a tricky like total package par4 here. I feel like >> Yeah. >> Got to get off the tea, have a little bit of restraint, a little discipline. >> Yeah. >> And then you know the backhand either way, right side, left side is pretty tricky. So to have that forehand at about what do you think? 340 350. I don't know what it >> Yeah, I think it plays a little shorter than it is, but I think the actual distance closer to four. >> Yeah, tricky par4. What do you think about this par4? >> It's the last of the par4 gauntlets. It starts with a very uphill t-shot. Camera doesn't do it justice. You are just staring at a hillside when you step on this te box. Got to move it left to right and then you got to go uphill again through a >> decent gap. Look how high he's looking up. >> Seriously, he's going right back to that distance disc I was telling you guys about. Understable full speed driver. Watch this thing flip up. >> Even going uphill gets it to flip up. Was headed to the money zone. catches one of the only ones to miss and pinched on a tree is going to be a hard up and down. This hole definitely favors >> two forehands. Sully getting a little higher on the hill than Adam. >> Yeah, a little inside of where Adam went. >> I like the backhand to really get to the money spot. This is a good angle. >> Look at this. >> Look at that. >> Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. That the forehand gets you to a good spot, but I think a wellthrown backhand really gets you gets you up there. Maybe you can see the basket where you're at there. >> Tell me what you think about this one. >> This kid's got a whip, you know. He knows how to put >> everything into a disc. Tell me what you think about that one. >> That's incredible. I mean, what's he got? Like a little chippy forehand. >> 300. >> Had to wait on the card in front of him to throw a shot. >> Wide open. Best drive the hole's ever seen. I can say that with confidence. >> Feel that Jake's got the upper echelon distance. >> He does. And that angle was so good. That was a reblend D1. He throws those things a quarter mile. got it right, flexed it back. I think he's about 50 or 60 feet ahead of where we saw Jack land. >> Such a proud dad moment right here. >> Really is, man. I love seeing the best shot a hole's ever seen, which we're getting the opportunity to see here at Cactus Rock. >> Yeah, >> not too many people have played this, >> especially not with that tournament juice going on. >> Totally. >> Get that extra 5 10% Come on, Jack. Wow. >> Beautiful shot. What a line. Little back stop behind the basket. >> Stayed low. I like his form. He's obviously a young guy. Going to grow. Thicken up a little bit. >> Come on. Keep it nice and tidy here. >> Yeah, that hole's never looked so easy. Young guns making it look easy here. Adam under par. Happy to take the par here. What do you make it out of the out of the gauntlet at? Is he even par? Is he He got a birdie on the last hole. So the fourhole stretch there. >> Yeah, he birdied hole one. Uh, I believe he bogeied hole three. >> He got hole five. >> So, >> not even through the gauntlet. >> Good three from Jake. feel like if players can stay around even maybe one or two under something like that and then get to the back. The back is definitely a little more attackable. >> That's a great point. Back definitely less teeth, more par threes, >> chances to get some twos. >> Teeth still there, but I just feel like it's a little more attackable. Some of these long par fours on the front. >> Yeah, >> you don't get off the tea here and you're really struggling. But here you have a breath of fresh air. Finally, a hole that you really feel like you need to pick up, which you really you haven't seen yet. Playing almost a half a stroke underpar. This one you've seen eagle putts on. >> Yeah. In practice, we saw a few people get within 100 ft. It's something that these guys can really smoke a forehand high and take a lot of the distance out of the hole. The backhand's a little trickier. I've seen some fortunate backhands get way up there. >> That's a fantastic kick, too. If it hits and drops into that ravine, creates tricky footing. And while it's not out of bounds, the up and down not guaranteed. >> That's where the real trouble lies on this hole is finding yourself some good footing to work with for your next shot. >> Yeah. Jake not getting very much off the tea, but still able to get the birdie here. >> Yeah. Oh boy. >> Hanging it a bit wide for his likens. >> Maybe a big Anheiser forehand from down there. But he is so far below the playing field on the green now. >> That's what I'm thinking. Some of these lies you can really set yourself up really below the basket and have to have to gain a lot of ground upwards. >> There we go. That's what you're supposed to do. And it's it's easier than our card made it look. >> Yeah. >> One of three through the gap. >> This is a tricky T-shot. I mean, when you said it was playing under par, >> Jake, >> it's not part of the gauntlet. I think it's >> I don't know. This is This is still a tricky hole. >> Ah, stock forehand sets you up with an extremely stock approach. >> Even from out of position. >> Yeah, >> Jack. Maybe little local knowledge helping him get that bird there. Backto back birds. Drop it style. >> Get things rolling here. Nobody's really let things get out of control yet. >> Both times I call for the high Annheiser forehand. He goes backhand. pulls this one off as well. Be inside the circle for his birdie look. And so, this is where he loves to throw the little nose up. An annheiser. Give it a bid. >> Doesn't get the distance right, but that'll be an easy birdie for him. Jake first to put. There it is. That's a good distance putt to get that confidence back on the green. You feel like you can loosen up. Don't have to throw the approaches as close. Let the putter take over and do what you know you can do. >> Adam, they haven't been super clean, but they've been going in. It's kind of the opposite. >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it seems like every time you're stepping up to your mini here on this course, you're probably gasping for air cuz uh it's quite a physical course to traverse. Yeah, it is indeed. Especially that back nine coming down the stretch on what will be the front uh excuse me, the round one layout. We're going to mix things up a little bit. We're going to finish on a different hole tomorrow. You guys will have to wait and see exactly what that hole is, but just trying to manipulate a few things, find out what works best at the course, which doesn't have much data, not too many points that we could take from. So, this is a really good weekend, not just for us at Gothro, but for Cactus Rock to find out how the course plays and maybe make some minor adjustments. >> Yeah, absolutely. Tricky R3 here, but one that a lot of players are kind of licking their chops at here. Just a long driving hiser here. Yeah, we say we say stand up, we say driving. You just want a lot of hiser angle coming up to flat, never actually getting flat as you go around this corner. >> Really good. >> Kind of gets himself a putt. Yeah, you hear Adam in the background. It's going to be about a 50-footer. Might be obstructed either way of that tree though. And Jake's uh very close to the basket. >> Oh boy. >> Oh, that was backtoback. Oh boys. >> Yeah, it seems like, you know, he was he was uh playing some comfortable golf, sneaking a bird in here and there, and he knows that that that was just a mistake. That's going to cost him. >> Yeah, it feels like the miss here should be pushing that back wall. >> What kind of like you see here? >> Good looking backhand out of Sullivan. >> Oh, it skips over the rocks. Nothing left. 15 ft. He's cash for that. >> Showing off the backhand. I like it. >> Might be picking up two here on Adam if he doesn't get this. Excuse me. I guess if he does get this up and down, he's losing, too. >> Oh, rude. Last one to beat. >> Yeah, Jake's more like 70. This is a kind of a fall away putt, too. Don't want to get too frisky. Yeah, short for three in a row. Can Jack pull that off? All right, Adam. Bogey putt. >> Yeah, >> huge bogey putt. >> Doesn't feel good, but getting up and down from that weird position. >> Yeah, has to. >> He's going to be thinking about that tomorrow on the teapad. Y solely quietly starting to get things rolling. >> It's a good part of the course to kind of get your momentum going as well. >> Yeah, >> you got past the gauntlet. >> Good scoring position and hold nine to finish out the front nine and then the start of the back nine. Very scorable. >> I can't wait for this drone flight. You guys enjoy this right here. This is what I think an amazing disc golf full looks like. You go forehand down into this valley or go late flipping backhand whizzing by this corner hooking back up headed down to this flowering dogwood in the corner where I've seen drives land already. about 100 feet out is where you can get to. It's pretty crazy to hear, but uh yeah, the late flipping backhand is the aggressive play. I think tournament play we're going to see right here from Sullivan Typton. Keep it low, flat to Heiser. >> Kind of all you need, two forehands really. >> Little rude, but he'll be fine. >> Yeah, >> picks up half the distance there. He'll probably have three and a quarter to 350 in. >> Really seems like get past that like left side corner there where the tree line kind of stops. If you get to the right of that, got a nice angle into the green. >> Yep, >> that's a nice shot. And then I mean an aggressive backhand, an aggressive like high backhand can really cover some ground on this hole. >> Jake pushing that corner even more. This is ideal. >> Yeah. >> Oh, gets away from the tree, too. Dealer's choice approach from there. Can't do it any better on the forehand. >> No. coming out a little early. Hits the exact same tree solely hit. Both those guys were a little high and a little uh a little early I think on on maybe a little too stable. Either way, sets up a big forehand andheiser here. I want to see this. Got to get down. Solid work. >> Give himself a look for bird. Sle checking off a bit further right. Yeah, he's just going to go putter here. >> Lot of trust that flat angle. Ah, just coming up a bit short. Yep. Yep. Both he and Adam going through early right. You can see that dogwood in the background. It's great aiming spot for you. This is also a little early, I think. Nobody really stretching this out as as much as they need to. Jake early, too. Come on, boys. Bit of a height issue there, but he's fine. Nothing to >> I agree. He's fine there. >> I I'm going to nitpick a little bit. That was not tidy. >> That is a simple shot. stock. >> Yeah, so from where he's at gonna want that one back. Anytime he's got that zone in his hand, you know he's thinking birdie, especially inside the circle. >> Come on. >> What? Young Jack Barry, 16 years old. >> What' you say? Is that four in a row over him now? I know you said three earlier. Yeah, he missed the last hole. Chained out left. >> That's right. >> Three of four though. Ain't bad, >> man. >> Putting a little pressure to even >> sticking with the group here. >> Really is. Yeah. Shy belongs. Yeah, there we go. Jack and Jake grabbing the birdies right there. Sulvin and Adam from not the best positions, but good enough. >> Manageable. >> Yeah, should have been manageable. And hopefully uh hopefully tomorrow we see somebody get frisky on the backhand. I'd love to see an eagle or at least the attempt at an eagle. I really think it's there. Sets up great for it. >> What a spot. Mr. Dylan C's procured fantastic idea putting it in the hands of the GOAT Paul McBTH. They've created something really special out here challenging the best players in the world today. >> Yeah. One of those one of those courses you just get out and not hearing any traffic, nothing. You're just out here doing the golf. >> We're in the sticks, man. >> Yep. >> It's amazing, too. I say that in the best way. Gavin Babcock, the hot pace right now through 10 holes. He's got half of them three strokes into the lead. And because of the cell reception out here, cards don't necessarily know what each other are doing. >> Yeah, >> you kind of got to just stay on it. Uh well, I do know that Gavin and Sullivan played practice rounds together, so they probably play in a similar game plan. Um Gavin saw soy slay it probably knows that he needs to pop off if he wants to compete for this thing. you know, one or two things a little bit a little bit cleaner and um in his game versus, you know, the other three players that are kind of up there, four players, and it Yeah, he's just maybe knocking down a putt or two more. 100%.
