continuing with moving day action right here at the 2026 MVP Discs Bottle Lake Open. We're in Christ Church, New Zealand again. Fourth event in the TDU, the final event headed back to the States after this. Of course, Luke Humphrey is joined by Tall Paul Omen. Time's coming to a close, but this golf is inspiring, man. We're seeing Levi Stout push himself away from the group. We're seeing Sergey get some confidence on the course and get some of his first videotaped reps in. Once again, we got to thank Prodigy Disc for sponsoring the Gothrow Tour. This is the second event where we're offering points for that tour. First one was Australasian Open and now this one. We'll have six events state side that you can get those points at as well. Little tie up top three-way. Two guys on the chase card having some fun. >> Yeah, I know. We've been focused on the lead card here, but Chase car doing some things back there. >> We are feeding off each other. Me and my teammate Jacob Blair, California native, played great golf in Norway last year at Cro. Starting off with a pretty easy one. Going to call this a stock shot ball. stock shot. Either way, I would think you got to have a flippy putter in your bag or you got a little chippy forehand. Indeed, I think this is the OG one. Yeah, this putter here hit an OTB tour series Ace couple years ago now. >> Yeah, a couple years. It's kind of kind of wild to think I saw this in person. He actually gave the chef's kiss after we threw down. >> Yeah. I don't know if that was maybe some sort of like a, you know, beginning host luck thing for me, but that was the only tour series skins that I've ever got to host. And for some reason, I gave away over $8,000 in one shot. >> Danny didn't forget about that. Danny remembers. >> I'm sorry, Danny. >> It was good for content. >> It was. Yeah. Crazy Ace. They're all crazy I suppose. Good looking approach from Sergey. We saw that on the front nine. He's got a great forehand. I'm going to attribute a lot of that to the tennis background. >> Did you see what he was throwing? >> Looked like a zone to me. >> Zone. >> Yeah, that's the one he threw on hole one. Dialed it up. Got the birdie first hole on coverage. >> He threw his shot a little higher than I think I would probably throw mine. What do you >> What's your angle of release here, Captain? in between he and Bradley. Bradley was about four to five feet off the ground. Wow, that got fortunate. I watched that person. Actually didn't look like he got that far up. >> Okay, he's back to his Michael Johansson ways. The quick look down. We're talking three in a row now. Only one par on the day for me by Stout. >> Bradley the closest on the card and just not able to keep things rolling here. Francis looking to get things going again. Dang. Yeah, Brad saw it yesterday. Really could have been a special round. missed a few to begin the round. Kind of shook his confidence. It appears it's it's not as dialed as it was when we were up in Auckland. >> No. >> Still got a lot of golf to play, but it it's heating up. Like I said, Levi doesn't seem to be backing down. >> He's very comfortable right now. >> We're moving into a tricky part three. >> Yeah, >> I think this is one of the tougher parts. I don't know. I was scored that man, but I'm just in and flightwise, it's a little further than some of the other kind of chippy stock shots. You got to make something move on this line, forehand or backhand. Yeah. Oh, no way. Last one to be. >> I really like how he starts that line out right at those left side gap trees. Maybe even a little wide of them, trusting that the disc is going to move right. navigate past them and stay away from those trees on the right. It's a super clean shot. Just an unfortunate ending for Levi. Both of those guys going straight to stable mid-range. Straight to understable possibly. Yeah, I'm sure they both got some Well, I don't know what I think Francis is probably throwing a beat in buzz. >> Yep. >> Levi's probably got a base plastic katuku. Something that's been in his bag for a while. Loving this Makeo three out of Bradley. Doesn't fully drift, but gets himself an opportunity. I don't think there's OB in those blackberries. I think that OB kind of ducks off. >> Yep. Left earlier in the fairway. >> Yeah, you're right. Not a terrible tree there. Was going to be parked obviously, but inside the circle now for Parf Francis. That is that is a little loose. That's a pretty nice little hallway to look down. >> Yeah, a bit of a slip from the grip there. You can actually I didn't even Yeah, he looked down his hand there. A lot of humidity here. Not a lot of good dirt to get your hands in. I actually bagged up some dirt from a different part of the park today because this is all really sandy. >> Interesting. >> Yeah, I'm Call me crazy. >> You're one of those. >> My hand looked terrible after the round, but >> I saw it. Yeah, >> I had good grip all day. >> No, we got to the kebab spot and you had to wash your hands. I was like, what have you been doing? >> Play in this golf, buddy. >> Just in front. Good standill bid showing balance and tempo. Whoa. Almost caught the catch. Cam made Bobby dodge. This isn't the comeback you want now for the bogey. >> No, we've had some great galleries. I mean, >> totally. >> You know, camera time and a bunch of people out here. Obviously, everyone everyone wants to see Francis the Kiwis do well, but >> Yep. >> just a little added pressure. >> Yeah, it is. It is also why holiday weekend. It's the holiday celebrating the signing of the British Malry Treaty in 1840. As we watch tapins from these guys, we might as well start talking about this gap. They're about to hit, dude. >> I mean, somehow Levi picked up a stroke there. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Don't get it. >> No, it's a hard scrambling hole. Play it over par. Um, and this is another This Dude, you know what you don't want to do? Come into this hole with a bogey. >> No, not at all. Yeah, this is I mean 236. You're looking to chops maybe you know ace runs casual rounds but uh game time gap 4 feet. Yeah, those those trees aren't even straight. They're leaning in. I love this overstable takaoo use this dude getting through the late trees. Open putts. I mean at 236 you don't have to hit a disc too hard to make it fly 236 feet. You just got to get some spin on it. But Levi really like getting into that shot, you know, like just cranking it over and unfortunate gap got a hold of Francis there. You do not want to get kicked left early on this hole >> anymore. You don't want to hit either of those and kick left. Bradley hit left tree yesterday. Forward progress 42 feet for the bird. So it's going to be Francis scrambling first. This is so easy to leave at like 35 ft precisely. That's where the set of trees is. That's what makes this hole so good. You got to beat those to get that easy putt. Good work. Yep. You were talking about those white tacoos. >> Yeah, dude. I was butting warming up for my round here by whole one and I had like eight takapoos around me all white and it just reminded me of, you know, the old days, maybe 2010, 2012. Every time you're around the practice basket, there's just it's just full of white AVRs. I don't know. Just gave me uh gave me some good vibes. Everyone's putting the white taco peas around here. >> That is Franc's nicest putt of the day. That's beautiful. Look at that thing. Almost no wobble on the stripe. Really getting rewarded with the great camera work. These boys, they like leaning down early when they know it's on the stripe. You know what that is? That's probably a good basket. These guys growing up around the helix, they can trust that dead center spot and they just start looking down early. Like back in the States, there's a couple baskets we play. You You watch that thing get to the pan. >> Yeah. Francis and Levi are just swagged out, dude. Like they've I don't know. They just They know. When it's good, they know. >> Yeah. Yeah. While we're talking about the Helix, too, OTB East is the spot to get those things. Check them out. OTB East.com. And they got a stack of the helixes out there in Pennsylvania. You can have them on your course as well. OTB just a huge part of what Gothro does, what the TDU is about. And they're also offering New Zealanders cheaper shipping through OTB discs. They're going to batch orders, send them to a trusted guy up in Auckland, and you're going to get your discs for $4 or less instead of the 15 to 20 we're paying for shipping. So, super cool deal. worked out specialtailored for these kiwis. >> This guy with the yellow taku doesn't stop. >> Oh my goodness. Look at it's so so pretty on the needles. >> Yeah, the pine needles are perfect to watch a disc spin. >> You know, there's a lot of the uh like the red and yellow gradient disc that Simon used to throw and now Ganon's throwing. I'm like, >> I feel like there's going to be some some copyright issues here about those black and yellow tacos. You know, people are going to start putting that little nuclear stamp on on their disc. >> Shoot. The way Levi throws it, >> it's going to be like the huck lab. >> Maybe right. >> He's going nuclear right now. Swing batter now. Sit. Wow. Okay. OB right and long is super close to that basket, but fortunate to stop right there. It's actually unfortunate to hit that Twizzler. Looked like a great shot out the hand. Overturned there from Sergey going forehand. The local. He's found a way to make this backhand hole suit his forehand shot shape. >> Yeah, this gap is intimidating, too. I mean, just wants to face it. >> Oh, wow. >> Yeah. >> Matching is closer. Perfect tempo. Really got to play the ground right on this hole. You land inside the circle, there's a good chance that you're going to find OB Long. >> Yeah, technically an aesthetically super pleasing shot. >> Playing those hills like a piano. >> Yeah, that's good. You can let that thing get away from you. The cameraman is standing out of bounds as you could see it. discs come up. This one easily missed. The bogey can happen quick. Yeah, you got to hit something there. And just like when he knows they're good, he knows that was that was a bad miss. Yeah, he'll be losing two to Mr. Stout who's really putting this card in the dust. 17 under par now. Seven up on Brad. Well, six up, I suppose. Brad's about to get the easy birdie, but again, my statement stands. He's elevating himself above this group. Progress. It's momentum made visible. A constant push towards perfection. Moment by moment, frame by frame, we're building towards something bigger. The time lapse was my first 12speed driver, but I knew it could be better. So, we went back to the lab, tweaked the feel, the flight, and now it's what it was always meant to be. That's progress. Introducing the retoolled time lapse from the Simon line. No limits. It takes a team, a village in fact, and it's all coming together for you. Saw several forehands on this yesterday. Backhand line is tricky. Floor comes up, the ceiling comes down. >> Doesn't get the proper amount of turn, but that hillside kind of funnels you to the right. He's safe. He'll have an open putt. >> You don't see him get that far past the basket. >> No. Missed a bunch of trees. >> He's playing so free right now. Who do you know that forehands T-Irds? Really? I don't know, man. But people see Bradley doing it like that. That's unfortunate. But >> wow, >> just the cleanest line. It was so good. He doesn't deserve it. No. That's what happens though. If you land on that down, right, left to right, do get the hot skip. Oh. Oh, rude. Hit a pine cone, too. Just got all the bad kicks. >> Think Bradley wanted an ace there. >> I think that he threw the same disc yesterday, straightened it out, and he made the proper adjustment. gave himself a chance. I don't think ace was in his mind until maybe right before it skipped. >> Yeah. >> And then he also considered the fact that if it did miss the basket, he going up B. So, lots to consider in the fractions of a second that the disc is skipping. If you're a disc golfer, you know what I'm talking about. Got to be careful. Yeah, >> Francis threw a nice line coming up a bit short, but Got a chance to make one up. Come on. Must have done that quickly. Didn't want to think about it. Just run through the stroke. Okay. I don't see him do that little double take much. Yeah. But I think I see him miss it more often than I see him walk up confidently and just let it fly. >> Yeah. I mean, Levi has been playing some great golf in these first two rounds, but we did see some hiccups on the putting green yesterday. I'd like to see him just lock it in. Agreed. Brad taking the par. The whole crew taking the par. Losing about three strokes to the chase card there. Yeah. I'm wondering who's looking because this hole right here doesn't give up. A clean T-shot to get a look at an eagle is just a thing of beauty. >> But uh >> yeah, it's 453. It's right there in front of you, but it is kind of like a right to left kinkedked hole like fairway downs shifts over and fairway down. So it's got to be flipping up the whole time. >> Yeah. A tight Oo be on the right. any kick to the left. I mean, you're gonna have to pitch out or get aggressive, which I just don't see as a great option here. There's a a tree in the middle >> that is almost even >> that height right there. >> Whoa. >> The height of that shot. >> He literally didn't hit a tree. >> Yeah, I think you know it was a faster disc so it just when it slowed down, you know, the stability caught up to it. But just a great angle like three quarters of the flight. He's in a great position. >> I'd say like what, like 4% of discs thrown off this teapad don't ever hit a tree. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Bradley getting a nice kick down. Still got a lot lot of fairway. He's going to be looking at this is what you want. >> Yeah. Beautiful commitment. >> Yeah. You hit early. You're in a lot of trouble, but just need to keep the forward progress. Maybe you don't hit all of your line, but you got to keep going forward here. Francis looked like he tried to get it a little harder than normal. >> Just doomsday. This is the move you >> Oh, no. Have to focus on and execute. A good decision, but just a lazy execution. And now he's got to do it again. And he's still got a bunch of fairway. Take your time. >> Can't stress it enough. >> I'm speechless here, man. >> Yeah, that one hurts. >> Every stroke is as important as the last. But you're still in the lead card. Like, yes, you're not gaining strokes on Levi, but you can stay on chase card. You can keep yourself in contention. >> Yeah, >> that is a well executed shot right there. >> I know what he's feeling, man. There there is a sense of almost like embarrassment that happens sometimes when you're when you're on the course and you got to push that away. You're one of the best players in the world and the belief must be there. Yeah. >> Or the shots can't follow even if it's a trick. That's what James Conrad told me back in the day. You trick yourself into doing this stuff. >> Yeah. What is what? How do I feel when I'm happy when I'm playing good? Like just find it. up. >> Yeah, >> at this guy with an eagle look. >> Come on. Oh, >> I mean that that would have hurt that would have hurt a lot of people's feelings. It would have but not Matt Bells. No, I got to see that. And look at that. I mean, Bradley getting himself into a position to minimize damage and it's it's unfortunate. >> Yeah. What were we saying there? You got to witness a little something. >> Oh, Belle, man. I mean, the drive was was why I why I love disc golf. >> To see someone fly a disc down this fairway and then I mean to hit the putt, too. Like, >> it was Matt Bell though. You know, that putt was going in. >> Matt Bell. Unbelievable. Had a great round today. Eight under. >> Just so cool. Agreed. The only eagle of the day. Mr. Bell just flipping a wraith up dead center, squeaking by that evil middle tree. Yeah, Bradley's body language definitely lets us know he knows how big that was right there. Yep. Got to knock that down. Moving into 16. Double Mando. The double Mando is definitely wider than the gap here, but it is still in your brain because you kick a tree and you get left or right of the mando and you haven't crossed it yet. You've got some You're taking a You're taking a bogey. >> Yeah. >> You have to You have to hit this gap. You have to get forward progress. >> What do you know? >> Yeah. >> Get comfortable with the disc. Keep throwing it. >> I'm all right. >> What's his phone number? >> Yeah, that was a pretty good one, too. >> How do you even make a phone call in this country? I tried earlier this week and my hair is gray. grayer. Oh, that's a full-blown Kiwi tree right there. I think it was the same one kicking them to the same spot. We'll see if they can pay it off. Honestly, it's the great who take the fortune >> and turn it into under parro. >> It's just a guy in a suit that looks like a tree, man. He's just moving around out there. He's making things happen, shaking it up. Brad, it's a Twizzler. Turns him right, catches hardwood, kicks left. Oh, use the ground here. Francis, >> it's a Kiwi put off. Obie Long, this isn't something that you can bid. He may have been trying to do it anyways. He's going to have to work for the par now. >> I love these guardian trees. At the same time, I dislike them, but they just keep you at that distance where you still have to make a putt. Bradley got, you know, he's well inside the circle, but oh, Sergey is not over yet. Oh, putting the pressure on the other two boys. Let's keep doing that semi straddle. Kind of a tough putt to do. I love that an that part of the basket just under that inner chain. Like that's the heart to me. Yeah. >> Like you still catch those but not like high up and hit him where it might kick you back. >> Oh no. Okay. Stays. >> If he would have caught a little less chain that might have made his way its way past Bobby into the out of bounds instead he'll have a par. And that one is out of bounds. Safe. Okay. Getting the call that it was safe. In fact, wow, that must be so close. >> Good hustle, Bobby. >> There it is. Right there it is. Nice little scramble. Oh, that close. That's the difference between landing on a piece of mulch and landing in the dust. It's true. This stroke. That's Bob. Good par save and a roller coaster. Could Francis be a rapper? Is he uh kind of looks like if you just put on a little a little gold 17 hard three7. You got to you got to play the pace here correctly. If you're in one of these bushes, you're going to be bending your mini and a half because you have no putt, but you're 10 ft away from the basket. >> We had a right to left head. Is that what you were dealing with on this one? >> We got out of the woods here and the wind was howling. Were you guys feeling that? It was like It didn't feel this strong all day. Agreed. Agreed. really making it a longer shot than it has been in practice rounds, which is interesting because this is Levi still going mid-range. He hits it flat. It's got the just the stability to hold it in the wind. Oh my goodness, bro. Pedal to the metal. That is such a highle shot. Brad going duo rock. That was Levi with Takaoo. And very similar discs, stable mid-ranges that are a bit beat in. Bradley just doesn't hit it as hard as Levi did. They'll have an outside circle. Francis, the mistake you can't make. There almost is no putt from over there. Yeah, this is the wind I'm talking about. Yeah, you can't feel it on the T- box, but you know it's out there. It's not going to let these putts go in. Not from range. You got to be where Levi's at. Saw like 200 feet of putts yesterday on this one. And he had a bit more than I thought because of how short it was actually. It's low ceiling. Some of the adjustments required for the wind. It's not going to be not going to be available. Bobby's doing a lot of dodging behind the basket. These greens are fast. The hard pan with the pine straw is Brad Lake. He's hitting on a slight Annheiser on those short putts. There's almost like a torsion happening late to get it to that position. >> He comes up hiser and then turns his hand like that. I was I was kind of watching him demonstrate his move yesterday as we were going through the rounds. As we head into 18, the final hole playing from one island to another to another because we're teeing off out of bounds. There's actually three islands on this hole, but the final one has got hay bales behind it. help you out a little bit. If you do the drive properly though, it's not very hard of a hole. >> Two stock shots right here. >> Stock. >> Keep them low. >> Stocks. >> Finish with hiser. >> I like how he's doing this. >> Get the ground play. >> Kind of hitting the straight destroyer on that one. Letting it flip up a little bit on that right side. >> I think that's his beefy boy, honestly. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Well, he needs beefier than that. >> It's windy right here. Oh, this is too straight. >> Got to move left. >> Might be >> for a chance for par. >> It's going to be inbounds. Yeah, it's just on the right side. Probably hemmed up in those trees. He'll be pitching around the corner getting up and down from like 250. To note on Levi's shot, he got all the way to the left. >> Yeah, he's not going to have to do some funky shot. Bradley here as well, like straight putter in. Totally. >> Maybe a stable up a little bit. >> Totally. Yeah. Being left side gives you dealers choice. >> Yeah, you can throw the forehand in if you want to control it with the wind. Don't do it. >> Oh, nice. Fortunate. Cuts through all of it. He'll be in a similar spot. A little shorter, but perfect. >> He'll be first. That's his go-to stable approach putter. Wow. Zone on the boss, dude. That is nice right there. >> That's what I'm talking about. Getting the props from Bradley. >> Finishing your round with a tap in front of the crowd. >> Nothing beats it. >> You ain't got a putt, >> dude. It's like ice cream on a hot day, bro. >> Oh my gosh. After a roll roller coaster like that for Frances, like that's just got to feel twice as good. It was a roller coaster, but to finish out like that, grab a little dignity on the way out the door. Perfect. Bradley putter. What do you expect? Going to have to earn it. Got the tailwind. Strong takapoo just inside the willow. >> Not afraid to hit that thing flat. Nice and tidy. Like it's it's going to be tough tomorrow. >> Anytime your disc is coming in so slow that the bullseye feathers actually change the flight, the bounce of it, you know you're good. >> Oh, nearly throwing it in. Four very well executed shots >> indeed. Sergey bit of an up and down day, but starts with a nice birdie. Looks like he's finished in the same way, too. A lot of promise here in New Zealand, >> both these guys and the youngsters, the the eight-year-olds, the 14y olds. I mean, there's a what a 14-year-old Magnus playing in this event, getting a bunch of experience in Mo already. It's incredible over the three years we've been down here. to see the growth. >> Levi, that man does that again. >> It'll be hard to catch, man. >> It'll be hard to catch. >> Back to back six under par 9 for Mr. Levi. This one bokei free. Just a couple mishaps on the green again keeping him from an even better score, which is crazy to think about cuz 12 under is phenomenal. >> I know. I mean, who is going to be on the league card tomorrow because I know somebody has got to drop off from that card. Yeah, even par Francis you got to assume coming off. Jacob Blair and I popping up from Chase, but Isaac Lada shooting the eight under coming up from third card. Wow. Miles McCall having a nice round. Cory Ellis coming up from what was that? We were on like fourth card or something having a hot round. It was a day of a little mixing up. Moving day indeed. Somebody's got a chance to take home those trophies tomorrow. Bringing you guys final round coverage of the Tour Down Uners 2026 MVP discs Bottle Lake Open. And we can't thank our sponsors enough. Of course, MVP for being the Tour Down Under sponsor.
