hello hello welcome to the final round of the Copperhead Canyon disc golf tournament out at the West Side YMCA in Tulsa Oklahoma my name is Gabriel down I'm here with Bobby Cox what's up everyone it's an awesome little wooded course out here I've got a pretty good car here we've got some salty locals Matt Bell sitting at 8 down just Roberson at for Gary Harrison at 4 as well Brandon Cockburn a 3 and then Micah Micah Funderburk out of the Joplin area is two down yeah like a golfers here yeah heading straight into it we are on hole 1 this is a par 3 235 foot hole it's really short really easy like I said last round the really only danger is gonna be those trees right in front of the tee box and then there is a huge drop-off behind the basket as well so yeah and the Greens kind of like slanted at an angle yeah you can get you can't see some history always Gary Harrison he's be really really good yeah I'll say five six years ago but yeah work kind of got in the way stop playing as much but he's started play little bit more yeah he's a he's a sneaky player for the verities he's got some distance and then when his putting zone it's ridiculous yeah I was a great shot by Matt Bell and Justin not quite - no he's gonna find himself behind a huge wall of trees I'm not sure what he's gonna try and throw there now neither who's Gary looks like a rock he does a lot of rocks really get out going rocks cuz a little bit deep was lucky actually to hit all those channels cuz that drops off free pretty hefty back there yeah I like the for implied oh yeah yeah yeah that's uh that's my preferred plate on this hole just flex it out to the left have it skip up the hill and this is looking good from Micah yeah oh yeah still good yeah about pin-high left haha man I bet they don't hear before where Justin is yeah that's there's nothing no there's not see if he can save his par I was scared very scared of you laughs III doubt I would have even gave that chance yeah if you score past the basket you're rolling like 80 feet down oh but Justin has a little more confidence in his putt than I do it was a great pop by Gary there you know good start for Gary and came out early you know just left side and ninja himself Matt Bell oh nice cat homeless I asked if that never catches yeah it almost looked like you wanted to jump out yeah I guess when you win a putting title it the baskets and uh you know work out of the deal bit more the putting gods are in your favor exactly we have Cawthorne for the two as well yeah best dry with a bunch so no yeah it's gonna put on a four down and it looks like we're gonna have mica and Justin tapping out here mica for the three and Justin for the four unfortunately yeah yeah it's not a another fun hole to take a four on now all right we were on the hole - this is a part three it is kind of carries downhill the entire way there is a road that rides the right side it is not OB though so you really just want to throw the Heiser around the outside and hope it skips up to the basket yeah doesn't say the skip shots usually what you what you'll see more but there is the middle gap they can take I'll keep it low some low-hanging branches but yeah the Heiser's definitely go yeah and some guys just go to route so risky yeah it really is we got in that belt man and that's flippin up on him too much there yeah he threw the right where he wanted to throw it it she got a little flat and didn't quite get the fade Gary's going to the top he's going way high like yeah like you said gate 4 uh Gary's got some crazy power yeah oh he didn't show it off there obviously but I was pretty I was pretty sure yeah yeah I was about 50 60 short yeah Catherine keeping it low that kind of flipped up on him a little bit too much as well but he's gonna be closer than Matt yeah he's a fighting range a lot of scary putts on this course yeah it's very hilly a lot of rocks you can just kick off of and roll and just want to keep it safe that's looking really good oh well short yeah that's about 45 50 short I'm surprised no one's really executing this over yeah this is looking good that is like that's looking really good let's skip up and it almost got that weird skip that Micah got yeah luckily he didn't you know he'll have a easy tap-in birdie though take that stroke back from the first hole right that's taking its time on this one you already know he was going for that oh yeah and here's Gary from about 45 50 feet trying to take a stroke from Matt Bell yeah yeah and I'm used to seeing that from Gary all right that dude can putt from a mile away yeah he just has the ability to put so much spin on the disc it just floats yeah sometimes it by some in the but whenever he misses but usually he's hitting something is yeah knock down now they could run by it by Micah there yeah just a little right in short there oh yeah it's a great pub by Cawthorne and that's gonna put him at five down just in nice birdie from Jacksonville is that a construction glove yes yeah also one funny saying that that Justin does whatever he's playing a cold around he will literally I'm talking literal by like 20 of the hot hands put him in a swim in a bag and just it's just like a furnace in there well it's insanely hot I don't even know that yeah that's kind of smart though usually it's in one of those crown bags oh nice all right well we are on the hole 3 this is a par 3 225 feet it's a one of my favorite holes out here it's pretty scenic you're basically shooting from on top of the hill over this pond and then you want to make this island right here but I mean it's really not that easy to land because you get to land so softly and hope you don't hit an angle where it so I'm gonna roll straight into the water yeah I like to throw just like a straight putter shot I'll just get a little bit of fate at the end you're not trying to get something really forced itself to the left just let naturally fade left yep or else you go too far that's how that's a great shot that's looking money oh yeah these guys are pretty good golfers making this hole look real easy oh no I spoke to you Sam spoke way too soon and that is in the water that's worst-case scenario right there yeah especially coming off that bogey I'll hold one two there's Matt that looks like it might be fading a little too early yeah it looked a little short too yeah he's gonna be about 50 feet behind the basket yeah I'll know how he's gonna run that but yeah there's quite a bit of trees in the way it was a good shot from Micah here's Justin from that OB and that is very well done I wasn't really good up shot yeah still has a has a pretty decent putt to do but I was a really good shot nice you call thorn and Gary both have a chance to get a stroke on that here yeah they do so does my Micah as well yeah Andy got it I mean this property is just so beautiful I love it yeah yeah it's such a fun little course yeah they hold like summer camps for kids out here every year mm-hmm YMCA baby yeah I'm jealous I didn't get to do this as a kid all right yeah I never really went to summer camps yeah I can go to a lot of appearance all right we are on the hole for par three is 250 feet this is similar to the last one in regards to throw it over a pond you just want to throw a soft hand hyzer and have it just pop right over to the basket yeah it's a really long shot you you can also fell for hand by Deepa for the backhand just something slowly turns over some test rate works too and you know that's down the forehand right you just really want to avoid the bushes that's by the pond on the bank over there it's that left because you got a fork you got to aim it out of mmm and they're scary with that rock that's a perfect shot yeah he's so good that is yeah he's really good at those turnover shots burning conference sponsored by kaiser bomb that's gonna be a little bit right it's gonna be a really tough putt varied obstructed and this is like a perfect yeah I could hold this line yeah CTU oh no CTE almost CTV shout out to Lauren Lewis who got the seat oh yeah he got it I was also his first first time cashing in an open tournament oh no it's all done on Facebook by now Frank yeah I'm grants Lauren Lewis absolutely Laurens been kind of not he's kind of been dominating the advance field for a year and a half two years studies he's making that move to to open it's paying off yeah and that's like decent shot from Justin yeah he might have a little bit of obstruction on the putt but should be too difficult man Brian had the line just a little bit low just a little bit too low hello and knowing that Gary is just absolutely poor that ain't carries kiddin yet another stroke on that well is this turning into a battle Gary's he's perfect right now yeah yeah he is four for four and pars for Justin Matt Bell and Brandon all right we are on the hole five this is a part 380 foot hole it's a really short very uphill really doesn't do it justice yeah you really just want to hit this gap right in between these trees and then have it softly Heiser back towards the basket yeah maybe a putter or I mean you could take really anything that's as long as it gets left yeah it's looking pretty good yeah that's perfect once again yeah oh and I don't really understand why he chose to do that yeah the summer I didn't even realize he threw that yeah I mean obviously he's had it work before or I'll see when I found that but yeah exactly the Heiser just kind of way to go yeah and then yeah just a little bit too tight so many like big rocks on this course a lot of unfortunate roll was yeah it's like here on the side of a mountain yeah this is looking really good from Matt yep just a little bit short but should be an easy putt for him this is looking good as well oh yeah and this might be the oldest basket may I hold on yeah it's uh it's pretty pretty janky it is although it catches better than that one that has two chains hanging off who shines yeah just a little bit left from Katherine and birdie from that yeah Matt hit first round I had a super long pretty pond this hole and grab the last chamber right alright we got a three birdies and two pars it looks like you not really once you want to see from the lead card yes in this hole this was pretty easy a lot more it's it's very easy you got a crappy putter just alright we were on the hole seixas as a part three 270 feet it's kind of a weird angle you kind of want to throw a soft Anheuser or you could go forehand just depends on what you're comfortable with and again it's just kind of an awkward line there's a lot of trees guarding the basket as well so you're kind of hoping that you missed those is the basket the baskets like barely visible from the tee box right I can never see it from the tee box okay yeah so you throw applying here yeah and I was get shot just a little bit too much turn on it button that he actually his lawn and you gotta like keep it low I don't know it's it it's an opera that looks money though yeah that looks really good yep I mean he's right there he's moving 11 down turn this horse up this uh this weekend just in well it's still fighting though ooh it up wait wait farther than that shut up right I don't have an easy three gotta get up just get out would be I'll be alright yeah this is looking really good oh yeah about 20 25 feet ooh Justin almost got a little Plinko throwing right I've been nice Janet actually started raining on this whole we were kind of freaking out because we don't have rain gear for the camera but yeah so we were like oh yeah Lowe's coverage was almost cancelled for a second there it was about two minutes of panic mode yeah and it is vanished yeah thank God I didn't even knows even a chance of rain that day well it was so cold that like only a little bit out there yeah I can do rain was coming yeah exactly thank you yeah and this hole is pretty difficult to actually birdie yeah you got the perfect shot yeah whatever and miss the trees right but yeah I'm at belters pulled to ease two strokes and head of the area once again so given himself a little bit more cushion we were on the whole seven this is a par three it's 271 feet it's downhill you can throw a soft and Heiser with the putter or you can throw a forehand really both play plays are there yeah we saw Stella me agent first round have a horrible kick on this hole when it really Bittman but all mostly that's three but yeah so you really got to get down there on the drive looks a little bit sawed off yeah they found an early tree and he's gonna have a long and obstructed putt is this the basket that has the two chains that are just kind of dangling off yes yes yes Carrie got a really bad kick there yeah uh he kicked almost where Tommy was the first round I think splint going around a little bit and that's well short as well like it kind of just misses gap but yeah I'd yeah I thought I had a chance of sneaking through there yeah he's gonna have a long putt as well surprised to see mostly back hands yeah this was kind of like deceiving though like when you're on the tee box you think you need though a turnover shop but you can really throw something dead straight and yep like a 30 footer just barely well yeah that's yeah I mean I know if putters are really touchy to forehand but I mean if you have it that's the ideal play on the rope you can just flip it up right straight and they'll just softly turn right and hey that's gonna be a potential bogey yeah that's that's about 45 feet Gary is just an awful spot here he's going way up over the trees why oh and that is very well done he's going over Salvage sorry here's Matt bail for two in a horrible spot oh she just a little bit too high that was dead center change yeah well it was just like a few inches higher here's Katherine for the three just a little bit too high nice backboard there he was Justin for his birdie but a lot of highs room now yeah ever feels trying to like dr. Bryant yeah cuz it usually doesn't fight like that it usually puts pretty straight you know I mean he has a little bit of highs and they're not that much yeah yeah I don't think I think I want to just sit her through the chains on this leaky jesting and actually yeah Cawthorne at that tree yeah he did and uh O'Keefe here he hit a tree and they went over every single tree yep ok so that wasn't first part I didn't know that he hit another tree no he was in the spot yeah ok so that was the same as for yeah I think we have I missed that shot because I haven't going fast yeah cuz he hit the tree like right in front of them ok ok all right well this is hole 8 we're on the part 30 or it is a part 30 it's 280 feet it's a really like low ceiling cap slash tunnel leading all the way to the basket you really just want to throw something low hard and straight something that will get all the way through there you also have to be really accurate as well yeah low ceiling it's a really difficult old mm-hmm and then you have the pawn to the right as well so if you kick right at all and you have a good chance of going o be in the water and how about that cave that Matt just got that ended up I mean I think ended up like right by the basket yeah I still own that lower level but he's about 25 feet you know hey he's got a bird there and here's Justin this is what Justin's known for ladies and gentlemen throwing massive over-the-top tardy you are you kidding me and he is right there is that where he landed that's where he landed no roll way no not that it just sit down yeah they shot from dressing up stupid I hate you Justin actually love Johnson and that's a rare sight right there my cat just went about 40 deep yeah you never see that on this whole really and this is a shopping area here's a dead straight rock shot through it just too low but it got good amount of slide I'll have a look yeah okay he gave him a chance to putt at it it looks way high yeah just to lie there it's a stayed up though stayed in the fairway yeah oh you're right he's a liar who was pretty close yeah it was good run from Kerry and this is just the most terrifying putt yeah how you have all time how many apples a little bit left I think it sat down on the other side of the hill Wow that's fortunate that's a great pop on that yep and he is now three strokes ahead of Kerry oh man that just a little bit right I'm sure you got some awkward footing because that hills there's a lot of like loose branches and awkward rocks that you don't see speaking of awkward flooding they're discussing where Kyle they're gonna slate is yeah yeah where to stand because he's kind of on top of that stump and he decided that you just didn't go for and stain on the stone little downhill putt for drastic yes he had good night tell me if you were to miss that I think the comment section would have some about it all right my bro just play behind it and Micah with an unfortunate bogey branded then didn't terror growing so he's savvy he's still walking yeah that was kind of danger especially since he's been battling that knee injury I know all right we were on the whole mind part three this is a three hundred and five foot tunnel pretty much whether you want to hit this tunnel right here that the drones flying through and have maybe a fairway driver if you can get a mid all the way there something that'll just ride straight for a little bit and then have a soft Heiser and then this road right here is OB if you're on it so and so it's the basketball court run glass yes it is so very tricky hole yeah one of the trickier holes out here some luck needs to be involved because you can tell a great shot and just hit a tree in the third yeah this is looking great from Matt yeah oh yeah nice correction from the first round yeah he's right about 25 feet there that was looking really good as its handles right down the middle yeah you know that just happens sometimes out here but keep making putts you know that's kind of like the beauty I'd like short courses you know if your drives are off you can still save save your game with some quality putts mm-hm Coughlin is kind of checking out that knee yeah and the don't want hot tea pads out here poured yet yeah they're playing on basically there's dirt and you know it's not the best footing yeah this is looking really good it didn't seem to bother him that's perfect hit shot there so uh was that for every driver yeah that was a PD he he I said he went with a slower distant he normally does because of that trip that he took from a last ride right something we didn't have to really force it yeah that's smart yeah ended up really well hang out and I just never note that thrown this whole salt is he Addis yeah exactly and Justin found the OB basketball court there unfortunately Michael was a great up shot here you trying to dunk this he's a sellout of our yeah if you can make that that's actually pretty long caught hmm good run from Justin that putt they trees oh yeah that's my 13 down 13 down he is just riding this wave he is he was caught for the two after an awesome Drive if he has a beautiful Drive he and Micah with a bogey that's gonna put him at 2 down not the front not he wanted that's for sure though Justin either yeah Justin has some hiccups along the way but you know I think he's gonna bounce back for the for the last nine yeah alright well that's gonna conclude the front nine of the final round of copperhead Canyon disc golf tournament Matt Bell sitting at eight down Justin and Gary both at four and then we
