greetings disc golf fans we are here with the final round coverage of the 2019 ledgestone Insurance Open presented by disc craft my name is Gabriel Dao and I'm back in the booth with Bobby Cox what's up everyone so far we've got an exciting tournament page Pierce and Katrina Allen going back and forth stroke for stroke after the second round page Pierce is two back from Katrina so we have a very exciting final round for you guys I see page making a little move here she's only two streaks behind yeah getting straight into it hole 1 this is a par 4 starting off with a big bomber it is 636 feet most of these ladies we've seen just throw a distance shot off the tee you can land pretty much anywhere in the fairway and as long as you get a good amount of distance to leave yourself with a good up shot you should be able to take the three here yeah this hole averaged 4.0 7 the 10th part is holed for this round and really thing and that's just good the Berean said it cool absolutely I mean off the drive you can really bomb as hard as you want yeah we got the tree now nice flash shot and you ask me we like to find spot if you get up to like that distance where she's at you have to public doesn't see in the basket and makes a massive difference oh yeah she's throwing a D - they're getting a good amount of distance should have pretty easy up shop in there yeah biggest oranges you know this she's ripping out a ballista Pro here putting it nice and high and compensating from yesterday's round to turn that one over a little bit yesterday and that's in a really nice spot there yeah if you're on that right side it makes that like super super peppy I mean you gotta wind it like just barely behind the hill yeah or else it's going to the water OB there's a few of those greens out here yeah that are super sloping we got Haley she's putting out your brush oh not a horse there it looks like that's the first thing I noticed my brows water is for her size she actually falls yeah she I was thoroughly impressed with Haley I had never seen her play before and I would give her the highest potential up-and-coming female player right now absolutely I mean she's got it that's the church around obviously obviously crushes yeah she was thrown out a destroyer there Corino a PASOK up strong yeah that just absolutely perfect exactly how you want to land it right before that he'll let it slide down there get that kind of side roll that's perfect yeah that's how she's been doing all tournament it's just really dying or up shots and not really making that me miss no yeah keeping it clean kind of a fortunate tree I'd say I've been going down the hill a little bit it was a forehand so it was coming back right so still not a bad spot here is Jennifer looking like an AVR 3 and that is OB there it looks like no that's actually unbalanced oh it is yeah by like an inch man that looked like it went straight in the water nice shot there chin just a little bit too low on that one she'll be taking it for maybe a little bit of nerves first old last tournament her last round of the alleged on one of the biggest tournaments on tour takes used to it oh yeah ice in her veins starting up with the birdie it's how you want to start and we got Katrina just happen in a birdie yeah and I wasn't even expecting that bit of a gallery but those a gallery rounds one two and three yeah fairly good-sized gallery yeah it was awesome yeah you can you train rolling for the Treena yep I'm taming that two-stroke lead over page and we're on to hole - this is a par 3 it is 313 feet we've seen the ladies really just throw hyzers around the right side of the tree you want to throw something a little bit more stable because the hill drops off right behind the basket and there is the sidewalk that plays out be behind there so you really will just kind of want to play it a little bit earlier to take a little bit of a skip and end up inside the circle yeah this is the sixth hardest hole averaging 3.2 so I mean it's really just basic cutter there's a little surprising yeah because this is a pretty pretty easy - yeah yeah what does play like part 350 360 just going to have to play the Heiser around that tree yeah so I think a lot of the ladies would come a little bit shorter maybe a difficult putt and it is really easy to get a roll away if you do end up behind the basket yeah just coming in a little hot oh no that barely stays inbounds I was over ba and she's gonna be about 45 50 feet from there Haylee freshman went out there that looks a little bit wide and is okay there she'll be outside the circle with an uphill putt but still have a look we got Jen who's been throwing the big Heiser yes she goes super high but no a lot more height yeah gets rewarded about settles it out yeah here's Paige getting some relief this is a big time part here knowing that Katrina is up instead of inside circle one Wow man ice in her veins great putt from page from deep blues hurt at 17-under par one stroke back from Katrina yeah one thing Paige does with their posture she just fully commits all of them yeah not afraid yes she does Haley just a little bit left side there this is for the toss you and just aim side she'll be chopping in a 3 no Katrina was closer than I thought yeah easy birdie for Trina yeah she has had some solid pudding all weekend yeah and that is really what has carried her in the weed absolutely through the first two rounds this was Hayley to save three yeah she will stay at nine Jennifer pretty disappointing with that par yeah about ten fifteen from the bass got the drive side yeah whole three this is a par three it's 384 feet well these ladies were throw-in a slight turnover shot trying to end up right before these bunkers here you're not really going for parking it because as you can see there's the hazards all around the basket there's only about a 15 to 20 feet landing zone around the basket so we've seen Katrina throw on the left side here just leaving herself with an easy up shot taking her three yeah this is actually the hardest hole out here averaging three point eight six and yeah you really understand why it's low ceiling the whole way you gotta get real you're not lucky but it has to be the perfect drive to go way up there yeah and like you said those hazards surrounding that basket is pretty difficult as well absolutely you're just Paige yeah and that's a common thing on this oil just coming up a little short a little too low she'll still have a look from there Haley popping out of vulture that looks way too low and that's gonna be well short yeah and she was one of the few twos on this whole of the first round yeah it was a great putt she's over on that right side but a car path and made a beautiful putt yep Howard Jen's going right now actually yep she was throwing that Shrike out there and just got too much turn she's gonna be on that right side Paige going with the jump up from like 120 I'm guessing yeah just to be careful with those hazards oh yeah get that extra precision and Katrina with a good upshot there she'll be able to tap into three really executing that hole perfectly bastards I was in an apartment mr. Jennifer for - alone - on the card and just a little bit too low page with a good putt for three she was having some putting struggles that first round but really found it that second and seems like this is a par 3 345 feet cool little downhill par 3 really just throwing an overstable fairway driver to mid-range even because it is so downhill make sure you get a nice left finish but not too left because there is a lot of trees and bushes on that left side that you want to avoid but we got cat here going with the h1v to throwing this shot really well all tournament yeah putting it inside the circle all three rounds on this hole yeah this hole average three point three two on this last round fourth most difficult just because it's water yeah and if you go too far left the water does kind of like wrap around little bit more mm-hmm so you can kind of get some troubles on the outside I did see a lot of bad rollaways on this hole yeah I mean it's pretty downhill going straight towards the pond like if you hit cage and catch edge you're rolling in the water oh this looks yanked yeah that is and he's gay right from Haley and that needs to get up yeah she knew it from the second she threw it yeah just barely too low there Jennifer Allen going with the rock X Oh safe that's gonna be some real tricky footing cuz that yeah I'm slippery mud right there oh yeah got Paige just laying up it will save par from there it's Haley from the other side of the pond after the Opie stroke get it oh my goodness that looked like it was going straight in I think I went straight through the back crazy take your time good effort just a little bit too low that's really the only mistakes you can make it on a classic just warp it to well she's been on like her accuracy sent on for me but can't quite get the distance training up for beautiful birthday we save for okay oh that's stay David that one who went out bounce that would have been a very tragic yeah here's Haley for five yeah in this course in my opinion is like absolutely perfect people in this field yeah it was awesome it's just shortened up at the right amount of I pars yeah I know it's gonna fill in part boards and part BOTS or mystery yeah you want to see those sports get real far in the partisan yeah but the longer hole is that the girls who can bomb get rewarded that's it's really just ideal and there's like the perfect amount of OB oh yeah both five this is a par three it's 246 feet a little shorty but not that easy it's pretty scary you as you can see you're shooting through a pretty small gap you got the pond right in front of you and then you have the pond on the left side that you want to avoid you're either going putter straight shot or a little forehand to take the water out of play Katzman throwing the pa1 Signature Series here and executing it really well but now I'm not quite executing it well this time and finds the OB and she's gonna be pretty far back so this my daughter you saved it's my shot yeah this is the easiest hole Shiv this round o of this round I'll just round yeah okay adders 2.61 that's definitely believable eh puts it just past the basket she'll be about 25 feet there for throwing out a rock three that it was it was straight but she went pretty far deep she's gonna be about 45 feet behind the basket as long as you're in balance you're pretty happy with this hole yeah big zero cheer and Wow slid all the way down the hill and finds the ope that's really unfortunate like that should I grabbed yeah definitely I mean that grass is not the shortest yeah so very surprising to see that yeah and they cut this course like right before the tournament started but yeah it's just been raining so much that can't keep it too short and Katrina is needing to make this to avoid a potential few strokes swingin just a little bit too high in this yeah yeah I was walking behind Haley and her dad who was caddying on the way up to the screen and they were both pretty confident it was inbounds yeah so whenever they got there they were not the happiest campers I mean it landed in a good spot I just took some wild grin back ground action yeah and slid so far boom there it is great car safe from Haley that's some awesome confidence after that six you just yeah absolutely there's gonna be page for two and two strokes on cat oh yeah he's not missing that one I moved her to 18-under par yeah three down for the round and this is gonna be Katrina for a four sneaks it in there sit in but now only one stroke ahead of Paige it's gonna be close the entire way through yeah absolutely whole six this is a par five it is seven hundred and twelve feet well so these ladies are really just throwing a distance shot you want to end up good amount down the fairway end up on this left side some ladies will be laying up to the pond and then throwing over to take your birdie we've seen Haley Paige and Kat all have Eagle looks yeah so we'll see what these ladies do this hole average 4.8 for the 15th most difficult and I believe it's kind of a soft car five yeah but if you're not far enough on your drive then you're basically forced the way up yeah absolutely right in front of our water page chrétien one out down something nice and stable she is throwing a bio defender there it looks like and gets a good amount down the fairway Jen throwing out a destroyer she's so good with the angle control yeah she really is gets it nice and flat on that right side and trusts that stable finish and she's past Paige yes she is going out force yeah taking a little different approach with the more of a flex shot yeah that's just perfect she's gonna be right there bunched up with Paige in Jen Treena oh come on no no this looks way turned over that needs to sit doesn't OB that is out of bounds and it's a tricky angle from there to the basket to be well short of the basket she's got a solid 360 feet maybe 380 to the basket see what she can do here looks good so far just have the power yeah oh my goodness insane job that is a world-class recovery so right there that is so good she'll be having a birdie putt Hayes trying to get an eagle range and I'd say that's the eagle range that is definitely equal range about circles edge there maybe just inside the circle yeah you almost want to be like a me like ride those trees and hoping to get right in front of it yeah simply popping off the force and oh just skip off the concrete on the side there and she is in Eagle range as well I mean I can't stress how far this drive is I mean that is almost pin hot and I actually almost been right - yeah it's super easy shot over the water just a little bit outside the circle but she's got a eagle look as well in just a little bit low all right Paige come on Paige what just a little bit left I'm fortunate to see from these ladies training I'm sure is someone happy if you just witness that no I wasn't too many strokes never like you know like it's like even it's not evil but why Katrina with a super uncharacteristic putt there wow she's gonna be taken apart that's shocking she's been so consistent in that rain yeah alternate absolutely on fire and just like that we are all tied up ladies and gentlemen 19 under for both of our leaders you know Allen and Paige Peters just absolutely killing it they are ten strokes from third place mr. Gannon and Vanessa sneaking up in there as well yeah pulse seven this is a par three it's 288 feet it is very uphill you can throw either a forehand if you got the power to get all the way up there it is plays a little bit further probably about 310 320 we've also seen the this hard and straight hyzer and you want to get a nice skip up to the basket but Paige has done this a little bit too low yeah this whole average 2.77 the third easiest hole in the course oh yeah and there is a bunker up on that left side that is a hazard well Jennifer's don't want a nice shot out mainly flicking a force and this is looking turned over and that is actually in the hazards yes it is just gonna have a long putt for here par save oh yeah getting that angle ride getting the skip up and it looks like we got cat taking a stroke back from page she drains that just flow really good line though this is the beauty of the hazards instead of just straight Obi's you can help from right where your disc is hey we got Jen here's a putt and that'll move her to 10-under par Catriona taking that stroke moves to 20 yeah I know this this whole had a really really slick tee pad the first two rounds so they put up a little tempt epad for this round yeah awesome that they did that yeah a lot of people were thrown standstill just cuz they couldn't get any run-up at all happen in the unfortunate bogey moving her to 6-under par hole eight this is a par four it is 535 feet there's two lines you can take you have the route on the left where it's very low ceiling then you have the right side which it's low sailing initially but it kind of opens up once you get past the trees which a lot of people are taking then from there you have a pretty pretty simple up shot across the pond yeah this is actually the second hardest form of course and if you play that middle gap it's quite a bit more dangerous because that water does come more into play mm-hmm if you just play the wide hyzer it's definitely the way to go yeah if you had the power at least oh yeah and then of course you have the elevated basket with the water at behind which is probably why it's a second longer so that wasn't absolute rush Jen there she's right here on the edge of the pond not quite get in the fade oh there's the skip over - she landed nicely on that short fairway grass and got a good amount of skip she'll have an easy approach from their age going for the straight gap yeah that's gonna be a that's gonna be a pretty tricky up shot - yeah coz on this side on this green you want to be within 10 feet for sure because yeah oh they baskets are a nightmare sometimes and you can't really go pass the basket either that goes very much I'm saying you gotta like play it super safe yeah come back that's not easy Hayes has been working on her forehand and you didn't tell paying off getting a nice little roll - not a forehand and that one just flipped up on her she's gonna have a long putt for her three yeah she might even just lay that up honestly yep Katrina with a nice up shot there should be able to make the birdie from there I'll open up the stuff it's not working at the front of that and yeah hospital bag right that was scary I thought that had to have happened at least once or twice as oh yeah Bailey with a nice run there here's a part of the scariest putt on this course for birdie oh yeah gonna move her to 20 under par yes you needed that knowing that Katrina's like yeah yeah making birdie as well moving to 21 under par yeah big shout out to Sarah hokum mass and Walker in Erica for doing commentary for us yeah while we were down there for the first two rounds awesome job and yeah really good oh and we apologize that the coverage hasn't come out quite as fast as our last two rounds we had a eight hour drive and then a full day of work to deal with before we could get in the booth to commentate for you guys yeah forcing them have that privilege of just knocking us out right after the tournament or the round was over so yes like some Simon's ah yeah dis flips he's like a free style expert I think hold on this is a par-3 it's 301 301 301 feet this is a pretty easy hole you're really just throwing a forehand a little bit high you want to kind of hit the backside of the hill behind the basket and there's not too much ground play on this hole there is also the backhand route here which is a little bit more risky as you can see yeah this whole average two point eight nine just barely under par and see why there's like no dangers so either pouring it at burning it which generally equals a slightly under par yep yeah isn't it it's coming back she was in that exact same spot it was at round two or more round - yeah - yeah Zac same spot she made the putt though so she's done it before and that'd be cool she can do that again yeah Paige points beforehand and that looks way low Haley I used to get Oh weeks through there like a curtain popping out paid for two and doesn't like it immediately early release there yeah it's really easy to do on those jump cuts over the bush cut are you serious Oh two times in a row that is fantastic the dish is like pops out of the bush stuff yeah he's got a guessing well the cool thing is like that's kind of her putt anyway so you have to toss my pile and fall in yeah it kind of just played red your hands yeah just a little bit too high Bailey look they're really nice birdie I made him to 7-under par and cats got two strokes on Paige now she took those two strokes right back and he's a last four holes yeah there's some difficult all in this back nine though it's gonna be real hard to hold on yeah saving par will stay at 20 under par and that is gonna conclude the front nine of the 2019 ledgestone Insurance Open final round coverage katrina allen finishing off the front nine with two strokes on page nice little cushion going in this back nine but we do not have easy holes here so no no there's a lot of separation here so should be exciting yeah if you guys enjoyed my straight that like and subscribe you can check us out on Instagram Twitter and Facebook and we'll see you guys for the back nine
