what is up guys we are back with the final round coverage of the 2019 West Texas experience my name is Gabriel down I'm here with Bobby Cox what's up everyone this is the back nine coverage and this tournament is brought to you by legit disc golf as well as the Clarendon Economic Development Committee so far after the front nine we have Cota Hatfield sitting at 17 under par he is three strokes ahead of Emerson who is at 14 we got Nick Roton at 12 and then Dylan balance with the unfortunate Island hole sitting at 9 downhill so getting straight into it hole 10 this is a par 3 it's 385 feet these guys are really just throwing through this gap here just on a flex shot it's gonna be real difficult with the wind today though to control it all the way down there especially the height of it - yeah the diskens shot straight down it's a probably the harder shots out here actually yeah yeah and the hyzer play that Ennis Emerson took first round will not not being played on not at all I mean we have a blistering left-to-right wind so Cota getting getting a little bit too high but he's fortunate to still have a pretty good look yep best look at the bunch so far and Nick turning this one over a little bit too much he's gonna be in the bushes on that left side and we're saying this is looking nice oh that was gonna be like really good yeah I had a really good line on it just a little bit too high a tad bit too right don't be laying up for three and Nick just catch him with his Guardian treason he's gonna have a circles edge putt for his par save never sent a little short as well he's gonna have a little bit more lengthy of a putt than he'd like Galen puts it right underneath the basket yeah that's right where you want to be on these putts today because this one is just so dumb yeah Kota misses the birdie for the lone birdie on the card yep Nick will be tapping in for bogey Emerson with a nice putt yeah really like any putts over like 10 feet is a success like yes like it feels good oh yeah Nick it's happening the unfortunate bogey doing with a nice par and Codel with the par as well and we are on to hole 11 this is a par 3 it's 157 feet very uphill definitely the easiest hole on the course in my opinion you're really just throwing either a forehand flick or a putter up the hill you want to get to the crest of the hill ideally because about a 10-foot radius around the basket it's pretty flat so and that was a nice run and the heck cage that hit Kate Wow he almost rang it up for the ACE cut it with a nice shot though he's on that left side only about 10 feet just emerson with that harp he'll be pulling that out quite a bit this round oh yeah and he's gonna be right there next to Kota maybe a little bit further left Nick popping out a forehand there that was well done yeah this is basically what we expected on this kind of hole oh no that is not what I expected in their mind and Cotto with the birdie Nick with a super strong putt they're kind of taken after Dylan Dylan with a nice pretty as well looks like we got Emerson taking the loan par on the card yeah you know he's frustrated they're very frustrated and he will stay at 14 and we here on to hole 12 this is one of the harder tee shots so when do I hear probably because it's it's one of the highest points on the course and the wind is just right in your face they have a blistering headwind so you really just want to take something super overstable the most overstable thing you have in your bag throw it out on the right side cross your fingers cross your fingers and hope that it gets back laughs exactly yeah I didn't see here this one didn't quite turn over all the way but he expected a lot more fade there yeah yeah might have an interesting up shot from there there's code I'm guessing this is his uh blister pro yeah and you put a lot of Heiser on that one got rewarded he's only about circles edge probably yeah there is Nick we have Nick looks like he's put this one out a little bit too wide right and he's gonna be down the hill on that right side he's gonna have a tricky up shot from there we got Emerson trying to bounce back from that par and a couple of other miscues and this one has flipped up too much on him and he is gonna be long right side behind that tree he is not gonna have an easy up shot from there as well Wow really good up shot there by doing yeah that was really nice he'll be tapping in for par this is Nick yeah we seen a lot of spike hyzer angles trying to cut through that wind yeah and that looked decent just a little bit too much speed on it got a little roll away down the hill and that's lay up zone no that's the first time seen that trusty Bruins do not what he wanted to do Yeah right usually it just crawls right up towards the pole here's Cota for a birdie and that's a good miss there he'll be able to tap in for three I mean you really if you're gonna miss anything hit the pole hit the case I drop right next to the Bastille so Emerson with an unfortunate bogey that's moving him to 13-under par and just like that code has got five strokes on him yeah he's really creating the separation yeah dealing with a nice par in Kota Tappan in the part as well dropping the water as well that is much-needed hole 13 this is a par 3 it's 360 feet this one is further back from the red pad you're really just throwing a hyzer out on this right side you want to try and hit the front side of this hill or even the dirt right in front of the basket to give yourself a look for the birdie you do want to be careful if going along here because it does drop off behind the basket and Kota is gonna be pretty well short there is Dylan and that is you got some nice flip up on the disc yes gotta love it too high and you stalled out I mean once it starts high xoring that bottom of the disc gets exposed to the wind and I just little Isha's it straight back so it just keeps climbing yeah this this hole was definitely the worst wind hole of the tournament because you're kind of up on this hill you're right next to the lake and actually from this point on for the rest of the round there was water moving sideways across the entire course from the lake the wind was blowing flakes of water just all throughout the course and yeah it was insane yes not given every have a expensive camera in your hand as well yeah ever since struggling to get that up shot close and he's got to do another one yeah he tried to throw that kind of upside down for hand-grenade yeah and the wind just got ahold of that in his up shots not not that great either he's gonna most likely being layups on oh do I Nick almost ringing it up with the 60 mile an hour wind gust help there have been crazy that would have been phenomenal but instead he's got a tricky 20-foot putt now yeah oh no oh no oh now my Wow literally Naza boomerang yeah Kota Kota was just playing some boomerang and no he's not he's not repotting that is where his disc landed he yes he is reporting yeah yeah and Emerson is just tired of this one so you just gonna do it upside down lay up yes for the drop in yeah and as you can guys can see look at the Whitecaps on the lake yeah it's looking like the ocean out there cuz the wind Nick making good for a par which is basically an eagle right on this one geez compared to everyone else dealing with a good par there as well and Kota tapping in an unfortunate double he is losing two strokes there well lucky for him Emerson also took a double so it did yeah hole 14 this is a par 3 from the blue pads this is a blind shot it carries right we saw a couple guys throw a big turnover we also saw a couple guys throw a forehand spike hyzer as well I think that spike hyzer will be a little bit better of a play today with the left right wind we have as you can see we have Dylan lining that up here yeah I mean you just kind of throwing it up into the clouds and slender drop down yep and that carried pretty nicely you got tomahawk Nik going over the top I believe he ended up on the right side of the basket almost pin-high so well coated you know he's that he is a little bit short of the basket but has a long look for his to most likely just laying up and Emerson just putting out a dime yeah that's a nice shot he is only about 25 feet for his birdie Kota trying to ring it up but he'll be tapping in for par yeah I think Emerson and Nick or just an why I guess and Owen or in panic mode here just trying to get everybody they can possibly get yeah Wow don't turn around me that no be fast Wow there it is and Emerson will move to 12-under par yeah a little getting that power stand he's real excited about that farm I would be too okay I'd be excited about any part exactly and we are on the whole 15 this is a par 4 it is 636 feet it is pretty far back yeah from the red pad yeah you're really just trying to bite off as much distance as you can the only danger really on this whole it's right up on that left side like this actually and yeah you're not guaranteed with the line from over there that's for sure yeah you really just want to be in the open and as long as you're in the open you have a pretty easy up shot yeah Dylan challenging that left side as well and it looks like he didn't go as far as Emerson did it's just so hard getting a disc to turn in this much tailwind you know right Nick with a nice shot there here's Kota go roar oh and he finds that first tree and he's at least open I don't know I thought he thought that was like a good shot I grabbed his hand and then he has to step to the left and took a peek and no yeah no the branch but he fights off a good amount of distance there he'll most likely just be laying up for the par I'm missing guessing he has some opera footing there yeah dodging snakes and he's pretty well short as well it's a pretty soft par-4 though than you think oh definitely Oh the distance is what makes it a par 4 for sure yeah like it's almost impossible to but the 3 is very much there yeah definitely especially on a calm day mm-hmm Dylan this is looking like a nice shot gets the roll up and about 20-25 yep yes Kota before the birdie just laying up that's just emerson for his birdie he needs this yes he does oh you see how much that dropped yeah that was a little high up in the air look how fast it boom there it is and just drops that's like the third time code has done that in the background of like a slo-mo long putt like yeah he like puts his arms up and he like predicts it somehow mm-hmm we're on Dakota oh and that's what you're talking about earlier just getting those weird skips off the bat or off the cage and it just goes twice as far yeah no such a good comeback putt - yeah just didn't quite stick he'll be tapping in for the bogey I believe neck just a little bit too low Nick tapping in for the par staying at 11 down Koda tapping in for the par as well staying at 16 Emerson has made some made up some ground yeah on the last two holes absolutely only three strokes back now going into the last four holes speaking of this is hole 15a it is a par-3 very similar to hole 11 it's 240 feet very uphill you're really just trying to land it right here next to the basket at the crest of the hill you don't want to go too far left which is why most these guys are going to be opting for the forehand and that's a good play from Emerson they're just hitting the top of the hill he's only left with about 15 feet yeah I got a mashing these guys were trying to get up to that top level just so they don't have a elevation putt but right if you're up there you also have kind of a death pot to snow kind of pick your poison and Cota tailing kind of drop that one a little bit Dillons up there as well and as you can see the wind was howling up on the top of this hill ooh good run there you know and take just a little bit too high but that's not a bad mess he'll be able to tap in for a par oh my goodness actually like just about to say the putts are starting to look better and better and he's just gonna reap us he's gonna be put yeah wow that's that's so brutal yeah oh my gosh yeah I couldn't even finish it I don't know and that was oh I'm sorry - laughs that is just so absurd and this is we we both play the tournament that was pretty similar to this yeah and all Missourians so we can realize were there yeah we can relate to this we were there with ya you have to just like change your mindset and just just try to have fun no matter what I mean it's so hard to actually take this serious and like oh that should have went it and like no no I mean you're just trying your absolute best and whatever happens happens yeah unfortunately these guys are competing for you know thousands of dollars so the pressures a little bit more on them than it was on us yeah dealing with the unfortunate double bogey and that was very rough goal for our card yeah Paul 16 this is a par 3 it's 285 feet very downhill you have a wall right in front of the basket we've seen a bunch of guys just play for that just throw out a hyzer throw nice and low and if you do hit that wall you're only about 20 feet from the basket so it's a decent play for sure yeah Nick went way left there's probably a pitching up yeah there is or there is a right-to-left headwind on this hole which doesn't make this hole easy at all and you see wow that went left immediately I was half and here is Emerson trying to keep it lower than these other guys did which is what you have to do I mean I mean he's still on that left side yeah even if you keep it low that Wednesday's gonna take it so far left I mean oh you know how you can get it straightened out yeah I mean Dolan's trying to overcompensate by playing weight right but even he's on the left side yeah this is Cota just trying to lay up hand does that well he'll be tapping in for a three here we got Nick hide behind the bush Nik with the nice layup as well this is doing for the - and he's there's so many spit out so nothing gonna be about that one yeah nothing at all and he'll be tapping in for three got Emerson here yeah three as well it's definitely frustrating after struggling throughout the round not quite getting the height right and he finally just hit it perfect and still don't get rewarded from yeah but yeah and I'm sure Emerson's feeling really frustrated right now yeah his uh he had a chance to be within he's learnt to stroke exactly my last hole and ended up taking a five so that is just really fortunate but we are on to hole 17 this is actually my favorite hole on the course it's just an uphill bomb you want to make sure to get to the crest of the hill maybe even go deep a little bit like we see Nick doing here that's not bad at all as long as you make it up here you'll at least be able to lay up and take a three this green is definitely one of the more difficult playing holes today because of how high it is an elevation compared to the rest of the course so you're just super exposed to the wind so you're saying it's not raining right here this is just the the lake blown over it was it was slightly raining about the majority of it I feel like was the lake what I'm just blowing across the entire course it was literally insane I tried to wipe off my camera like every five well sink and I'd pop up and then be wet immediately well yeah and I was thinking since it's coming down like sideways it'd be pretty hard to keep that lens clicking yeah as you can see here and Nick just laying up there he'll be able to hopefully tap in for a three you never know today though if you're not dunking it it's not guaranteed yeah there it is Ellen with a nice birdie that is such a good birdie on this hole today that makes me feel so good just the fact that he made that that that is an eagle in my book today yeah like that's that's great Emerson with a par and we are on to hole 18 last hole of the tournament this is a par 3 it's 335 feet very downhill the blue pad is only just a little bit further back than the red it does give it a little bit more tricky of an angle towards the basket as you can see you have that tree on the left side that takes the forehand out of play but most of these guys are going to be opting for what don't through here which is just a hyzer over the right side yeah and that straight headland just kind of flipped his up to fly I'm sure he was trying to go high as her whole way and unfortunate hit that tree got the same here by Nick yeah Nick just a little bit too low and that wind just dropped it it is Cota I like this play with the headwind just just going right at it right the middle the highs result so be it there's nothing over there a penny he's gonna be about circles edge there and worse in I'm sure he's just gonna give this one a nice run he's got nothing to lose here though and that skip was insane that headwind just lifted it up out he's actually pretty well deep now Nick this is looking like a decent upshot didn't quite get the skip that he wanted but he should have a tail once in range yeah which is good Dylan trying to give it a run yes I will just happen in four three so many unfortunate breaks I mean really can't everyone this card obviously but don't especially with yeah the puss that he did feel good with that were hitting multiple chains they just weren't sticking yeah oh my god no no cold-blooded finishing off the round with the lone birdie on the card moving him to 17 under par and he's now three in a row former yeah he's got the lead by six strokes and I am NOT guessing that anybody else did any better than never seen an egg no especially today yes Dillons happen in the parts well he will finish the tournament at 8 under par and yeah we got kota winning by six strokes to a tie for second place nick ribbon and emerson Keith they ended at 11 under par and Dylan still taken out right fourth with the eight under finish Congrats to Kota three in a row three in a row a hundred and twenty seventh win and always always nice to see in Oklahoma win yeah for some reason it's still not getting old like it still gets more
