what is up everybody we are back with the second round vac 9 coverage of the 2019 West Texas experience this term is brought to you by legit disc off and the Clarendon Economic Development Committee and we put the mouthful yes it is so far we got Kota Hatfield pulling ahead of everybody he is sitting at 9-under par and then we got Addison Collins Nicholas written in Dillon valid sitting at 7-under par so the winds are picking up it's it it's been picking up I remember it picked up like little by little throughout this round yeah and you can tell by the missed putts from about you know 20 feet that are usually going in they're just not quite getting the hide on them and the winds shutting them down yep hole 10 this is a par 3 it's 385 feet you're really just throwing Affleck shot through this gap here this is really just about trusting the disc get in it on the right angle at the right height and if you get it above the grass there you can take a little slide up to the green which is ideal yeah it's definitely like a really tricky line to actually hit because you're really only faced with the turnover shot and that's in my opinion is one of hardest shots at the oil especially to keeping it low so got to control that nose angle and hopefully get all the way up there here is Dillon that is turning over way too turned over and he finds an early tree she'll be easy up-and-down enough from there yeah just a little putter from there not too much in the way essence probably looks like a little bit of a little bit of a flip up and just kind of falling down towards the basket and he ends up a little bit short but he's gonna have a putt from there here we got Dylan Oh No okay that's not too bad yeah went a little bit deep there Nick for - he is right under the basket it's happening for three I surprised like at least not like one of them's up in the circle yeah and we saw Emerson Park it with the sky that was very easy yeah and you're saying that there were like placing bets on if he could do it or not yeah he's like well you guys just shut up and let me try this out boom first shot man Dylan he's gotta make an adjustment soon yeah just throwing him too low he's gonna be taking a bogey here Codel with a nice par he will stay at nine yeah I know one thing I do is if I'm missing low I'll aim at the band and then I'll just straight-up hit the band and I'm like okay I'm done with disc golf for a while oh that's not fair it's like I'm trying just like an endless loop of really adjusting a little bit too far yes Dylan taking an unfortunate bogey moving to 6-under par whole 11 this is a par-3 it's a hundred and fifty seven feet there is no blue pet for this one so it's the exact same holes last round you're really just throwing a either putter mid-range up shot or up this hill yeah you can also throw a forehand flick like Nick is doing here it's a probably easiest hole in the course really yeah the only thing I kind of worry about is if you're I mean you can't skip it up so if you are even just like thirty short there's a possibility of like hitting one of those bushes and just sticking mm-hmm so you really just got to play it to land like on the pole yep you are correct sir and Addison making a nice majest Munro and Dylan pull him that one a little bit he's gonna be on that left side but he's still in putting range yeah I feel like a bad shot in this hole was like you're thirty out yeah yeah and that's just a scary pot yeah especially with Dylan's style of putt because if he air balls is gone it is yeah nice birdie from Kota moving to ten down yeah the only one really showing some consistency this round so far you know it's kind of doing some damage control here yeah just playing some safe golf Nick with a nice birdie as well that's why Kota wins that's why he wins yeah you know he knows how to save those pars stealing's happening the unfortunate part there losing a stroke to everybody whole 12 this is a par 3 this one does have a blue pad and we are further back I'd say around 80 feet further back you're really just pumping out a hyzer there make sure you have the right height on it and spiking it into the basket yeah it's nice they have that really tall pole on top of the basket so you can see it from this pad mm-hmm you know a lot of courses don't have that and you're just kind of guessing where it's at that you have to run away down half the fairway to figure out where it's at yeah this was one of the harder holes to film yeah I'm sure just kind of watching for discs and just pops out nowhere sometimes yeah and oh yeah I said with a real nice shot thought that was coming up short but no yeah and it didn't roll back too far he's just gonna be on the side of that hill yeah about 15 feet dilma pumping out a big hyzer and hope parks that bullseye he is not missing that putt no makes you better not good it's just laying up for the 30 smart golf and addison just a little bit too low yeah those were the types of pots that he was making all day first round yeah our cards got similar vibes going on here yeah everybody's hitting gauge yeah everyone seems to be little bit frustrated as well yeah but that one feels nice for Dylan I'm sure taking a stroke back on the card yeah he just lost so a way to turn it around there absolutely parking the hole this this holes not easy no yeah I mean you really have to get the height perfect on this or else you're going behind the basket or way too short especially with the wind out here oh yeah hole 13 this is a par three it is 360 feet so a little bit longer than the red pad but very similar shot you're just throwing a hyzer out there you really just want to avoid taking too much skip near the green because there's Milan yep and that's actually not a bad spot the the hill around the basket there is not too tall but if you go behind the basket you are looking straight up at a blind putt so want to avoid going along here looks like we got Cota pulling up the trusty Explorer here and this is coming in at a nice angle there does that is exactly what you want right there yeah he got it to ride straight for just like a couple seconds and then that was just enough distance to get away up there yeah hitting the front side of that hill taking off enough speed for it to just Park I had seen almost hitting that bird thank God he didn't and he is gonna have a very tricky puff from down there yeah here is Nick for his - and just laying up he'll be tap-in for three this is Addison it's a little bit high left you're still in for birdie let's go hello yeah got the height right on that one yeah two in a row getting that confidence back yeah and he moves to 8-under par he is back tied with Addison and Nick back in the action he's had a good couple holes oh no jinx yes - now that he stays missed about 10 footers yeah looks just like Wacka concentration or robust went on there yeah Kota cleaning up his birdie how does send with an unfortunate bogey they're moving him down to 7-under par and we are on to hole 14 this is a par 3 it is the blue pad so it's a little bit further back this one's a blind shot you're really just throwing a either right hand for hand Heiser over the trees on the left or a big turnover with the putter or mid-range or even a fairway driver looks like Dylan's going with that forehand play and that looks like it's in a really good spot yep I have some trees in the way on his putt though love to see yeah it's throwing that turn over shot and Wow he squeaked through all those trees right above the basket and is gonna be about 40-50 deep now yeah I don't try that at home ladies and gentlemen that does not usually work no and this just hits a super lily tree he's got a lot of work to do yeah and the lake is actually down there so hope you find it I don't think so I don't believe so I think he was on the edge but this is looking like a nice shot from Addison not enough juice on that one actually he's gonna be well short and Yannick is a little too close for comfort to that Lake Pike it's a fortunate he actually threw a little bit too much Annie on that one and got a fortunate cut roll all right we got kota went a little bit deep but here's him for birdie and that was a good line just not quite high enough it's Dillon for his birdie I'm just a little bit am side and he'll be tapping in the part that's a lot better looking putt though then he's had yeah before in this round he's been hitting the pole on the cage and I guess Nick that did go in the water so he's gonna be cleaning up for his bogey there that's unfortunate moving down to seven this is Addison for his par just tapping it in yeah I think I've said it before but there's something about high xoring around trees on like your putts yeah it looks like it'd be so easy but it's really not like it's hard to get a putter to go left enough from only about 30 feet and right yeah you have to have something super stable all right whole 15 this is a part for this one is further back from the red pad is 636 feet it's gonna be this basket right here on the right you're really just throwing a massive distance shot trying to bite off as much as you can and from there you leave yourself with a simple little putter or mid-range hyzer approach yeah I got someone dangerous don't go too far left and Yellin almost found that yeah that is that is for sure the danger yeah but he's still in a good spot to attack yeah I'm expecting Coe to just get super aggressive here and just try to go for it yeah yeah he's biting off a good amount of distance here he'll be right there in the fairway and I'll have a pretty easy pickup yeah Madison this house looking like a nice shot as well Ison has a really nice back inform yeah it does an effortless it's legit it I like that no that was really nice cape I appreciate that we got Nick gonna flex shot out there Nick pumping one out there he's over there with Cota in Dylan yeah he's on that left side he's addison with the forehand approach and just needs to get back oh yeah beautiful off shot yeah something I noticed about Nick is he really takes his time but it works for him yeah I mean like I have a lot of respect for that guy no sure because he takes his time yeah I during the editing process I kept seeing Blaine's cam just kind of get pump-faked like four times in a row I'm like Blaine just hold on hold on now go yeah Dylan going a little bit deep there he's gonna be left with a circle Zetsche putt for his par or his birdie birdie coach left of the super-simple hi sir and he executed that perfect way yeah and it wasn't yeah a really good looking putt from doing but once again you've got to putt at these like you're putting out of marksman and that was just a little bit too far left that's just poof all right yep Koda eating them in the middle and he will move to 12-under par he had really pulled ahead of this card here in the last three holes he's just not making any like weird mistakes you know no he's not he's not burning every hole or anything he's just a plain simple yeah which looks easy on camera but it's obviously not not at all Nick we all know that oh yeah all right we are on to hole 15a this hole is very similar to hole 11 you're just throwing a straight putter or a forehand flick uphill you're just wanting to land it right at the crest of the hill there next to the basket is ideal there is danger if going long on this hole - there's a drop-off on the left side behind the basket so I think that's why most of these guys are opting for that forehand just to take that out of play yeah I mean if you can just get like close to all the way up the hill you're at least not left with like a death putt like it would be if you're on the very top you know I mean I mean clearly you want to get on on the top level button being on that front side isn't the worst thing ever yeah Dylan had a really nice shot he'll be tapping it for two how to sin who's right there inside the circle as well it's Nick for two yeah oh yeah I think rose up like so clean looking started low and just kind of sort out perfect and he's gonna move to 9-under par there he's Kota for his - oh yeah he will be moving to 13 yeah seven down through the round that's pretty good yeah Nick with an her Addison with a nice putt Dan will just tapping in and we just had a star frame let's go where's star frame of the round or that I think maybe the tournament no we had won that whole 11 last round that's our star frame whole 16 this is a par 3 it is very downhill you have a wall of dirt in front of the basket which you can play for you're throwing a nice and soft Heiser with the mid-range or fairway driver getting it right there that's a good spot for Kota he's right there below the hill or underneath the basket yeah and this is looking like a similar shot from Nick and help you right there as well Yeah right there down the hill it's only about a 15 20 foot putt up to the basket so as long as you're putting a comfortable putting uphill you will you'll be solid I guess that's the place since that's three in a row yeah down there making minis sin this looks really sawed off and he's gonna be on that left side but it still has a pot yeah it didn't look too far off yes go go moving to 9-under par just mix that in it and just mix the band oh oh oh wow we got a little leprechaun jump from my leprechaun jump from Madison Collins I was gonna say pop parkour but that wasn't quite extreme enough for that he's clicking the heels for the pot of gold yeah Koda yeah just a little bit too right I guess yeah I mean it it looked nice and go oh man and that was close I mean that that putts set up for disaster cuz your uphill these these chains are known to push this straight back out Andy hit it up high so that could have easily fell on a falling out but stayed in yeah it was low pro site and everything now Elko does yeah yeah yeah he'll be alright yeah he's good hole 17 this is a par 3 this is probably my favorite hole in the course there is a huge wall of dirt in front of the basket as you can see you're really just pumping out a distance shot getting the angle and height right and you want to get up to the crest of this hill ideally to park it you want to hit the front side of the hill and have it scoot up to the basket but I think most of these guys are just gonna be throwing something to get up there close to it at least just can't deal with the putt you know yeah cuz this is not an easy shot especially with the wind that we had no I'm sure it plays more like 400 I think maybe 3 maybe something like that yeah it is very uphill so we have a come across one left to right tail this looks pretty good we can get all the way up there yeah yeah that is a park job from Kota help you tap it in for two though this is way too low from Dylan he's just gonna be pitching up for three doughnuts trying to go through the wall oh he was trying to can it yeah it was a good line I mean they're close yeah that's it it's so scary because the wind is how yeah I can talk to my dog on the cage yeah it's oh he that was that was really well played lean with the win there yeah I think Addison was actually on the very edge of that hill so he was like straddling basically we trying to feels almost off just trying to survive yeah it was a borderline hazard and should have taken a meter but it wasn't OB so he couldn't so yeah but he's converted on the punt oh yeah I guess if you wanted to he could have played behind all the way down the hill but you know who would do that exactly I'm holy teen this is our last hole it is par-3 it's 335 feet very downhill this one's a little bit further back from the red pin you're really just throwing a big spike hyzer you can throw a straighter shot down that left side gap towards the basket there is also a forehand Heiser as well just whatever you're comfortable throwing yeah it looks like Edison sell it off for the second time with that forehand he's gonna be quite a bit left just coda thrown that spike hyzer and he actually ended up pretty well short there he's gonna be about 45 feet to 50 feet short nice we got Nick lining up the seam line this looks like a good correction from Cota shot oh you know yeah he's pin-high about circles edge on that left side yeah and they got a tail one so that tail when you can just throw it up there and it was smash straight back down you know as long as you had the the nose angle right this is looking nice from Dylan yeah oh yeah he's gonna have a tap-in birdie there haha and Addison skipping off the top of the band and he's got about a 25 or 30 foot putt well to save his par kotas just a little bit low yeah you know he wanted to fit out going there yeah that's just the competitor he is though but Nick finishing strong beautiful putt MOOCs him to 11-under par yeah yeah let's come back has a fantastic par save from Addison that was longer than that was like circles edge if not a that was Oliver yeah 3540 feet actually in Dillon with a nice birdie finishing strong as well he is gonna be sitting at 10-under par for the tournament we got Cota finishing at 14 under par so that is gonna conclude the second round of the 2019 West Texas experience Cota still holding that lead as he does he is sitting at 14 under par Emerson Keith making his way back onto the lead card he is sitting at 12-under par we got Nick back on the card at 11:00 and then Dylan will be back as well he does it at 10 so should be a fun round to watch it will be very windy that is a spoiler alert so it's it's very entertaining to say the least yeah if you guys enjoyed this coverage make sure
