For the third straight tournament, Henna Blamus has the lead heading into Championship Sunday. We are at Bad Rock Creek in Liberty, Missouri for the final round of the 44th Kansas City Wide Open presented by Grip EQ. What a day we've got in store. Penna Blomus continuing to show off a newly improved putting stroke and she has a five shot lead heading into this final round. That's a perfect correction right there inside the bullseye. It's got to sit soft. >> Oh yeah, >> that is a >> best approach shots we've seen on this hole. >> I was going to say it's a nice feeling to be able to walk up to that windy elevated green and just drop in. Usually pushes right to left here. We're seeing the feather banners doing the same thing. So you got to keep that forehand on line. This is a good line here from home. See how little it came back. Pretty shot from Eveina. A chance to smash one down here for an eagle chance. Looking right at it. Good shape. Is it going to have enough power? >> Not quite. Salin to join the group at seven. And she's in for birdie. Eveina. Hot start. Well, this hole feels like a must birdie for henna. She has the power for eagle. It looks like she's got the fast driver in the hand. Oh yeah. That's beautiful. >> Third shot for Salom off the top. >> Henna has not missed circle one putts on backto-back holes yet this weekend. She's in. That's an important putt for Birdie. Costly penalty stroke coming and Missy Ganon sitting pretty right now. Three down and she's going to be putting from circle one at the seventh. That's Holland second. Looking at the first birdie of the day at the fifth. Another big putt for Blomus. Downhill 18-footer for Bogey. Trying to limit the damage at the fifth. Smooth. Circle one once again to get within one of the lead. Yes, Missy Ganon. Backto back birdies at the seventh and eighth. >> On seven. Another birdie putt coming up for Scoggins. There's a lot of space to work that left to right shot. Sophia >> and Sophia hammer from down the right side. That's bullseye. >> Beautiful shot from Dunica. >> And the wind does affect the shots on this hole. Even though it feels wooded, it's pretty exposed. >> Wow. Just underneath the canopy. >> Nice. >> Eveina to get within two. >> And she's in. >> I haven't seen as many shanks. I feel like for her putt, that's the thing to look out for when the disc kind of goes sideways, like an air ball from this distance. We're not seeing that too often. >> Yeah. Haven't seen the three putts. Exactly. We haven't seen the total disasters, >> but Hannah's not given herself easy birdie so far today. And it means that her lead has shrunk from 5 to one. Missy Eveina own all on the hunt. Eveina's putting great today. to back of Blumus and she's at the bullseye. It's a good play in the wind. >> She's going to have the nice wind of the putt as well. >> We go to the 11th. Cynthia Klesberga at the par three. She's five down today. Putting for another birdie. Raven Klein three shots back. Also five under today. And she'll be putting from 20 ft. >> So it's only about 170 to the basket. The uphill makes it play a lot tougher. It's fine. >> Well, inside circle one. >> Missy grabs a share of the lead at 11 under par. Nothing to reconstruct there. >> Eveina gets the birdie. Another threeack for Salin. And she's one back of the lead. Giving her the problem. Yeah. I mean, she's not giving herself 510 footers for birdie. It's all been at that 20 foot 25 foot range. >> Meanwhile, Eveina's been fantastic on the green. Seven for seven from C1. Co-leader Missy Ganon. That's going to be another really close one to the basket just on the other side of the hill. That's a good effort right there. >> Chance for redemption on the green. 28footer for Blom Roots to take the lead. Yes. Back in front by a stroke. Her biggest putt of the round and her second birdie from the box. It's a left to right headwind. ongoing low punch hiser here which I think is the best way to handle it also because it gives you a little skip just like that to the bullseye elevated basket uh tailwind putt Sofia taking the read off of own and throwing that exact same shot hits the ground right at circle's edge and skips to about 20 duna to get within three >> another birdie for Sophia Dunika >> would be a really impressive save there for Mark. >> Oh, off the tray. >> The two players off the left by the old pin position. Havalina aggressive. Eagle is certainly possible. >> And she will putt for it. >> Jennifer Allen. Long range birdie. Look. It >> fifth birdie of the round for Jen Allen. Birdie looked for Duna. >> Oh yeah. >> Chance for Owen to grab a stroke. And >> she's in. She's won back. Tied with Missy Ganon at 11. Yes, >> gritty. No way. >> Oh, off the chains. Nearly puts it in. >> Thank you. >> That was about as close as it gets without actually going in the basket. Look at the shape on the shot. >> Social media team's got to be putting together a compilation this week. This is ridiculous how many close calls we've had. A terrible break for Missy. More of a spiking forehand shot here from Eveina. And that's pretty. So Eveina moves to 11 under. Missy now two shots back of the lead. Handley's second. Bullseye. >> Big opportunity for Blombers. She threw a beautiful shot here yesterday. >> So pretty. >> Birdie putt for Blumus. to get two clear of Scoggins and Salin with three to play. >> Her first birdie since the ninth and just a third of the round, but Henna has stayed steady. >> Pretty shot from Salamon. She'll be putting for birdie. >> Salin for birdie to get within one. Yes. Huge birdie for Eveina. Oh, Eveina out in the landing zone right next to Missy Ganon who's throwing her third trying to get the birdie to close out. >> She's on the green. I again like you said she's 26 years old. She still has a lot of time to develop as an athlete. Here we go. Third shot for Salin. Needs the birdie >> and she pins it. Eveina is going to get to 13 under. No room for error for Henna Blamus. That's 340 uphill. She's got the driver. She doesn't clear the OB past the bottom side of the basket. It's going to be very difficult to save par. Here we go. >> On the green putting for birdie. She can win the tournament with that putt own. Just got to try to throw this in. She'll have that for a birdie can finish in solo third to win the Kansas City wide open. Plenty of confidence on the bid. Too high for Henna. But here we go for a spot in the playoffs. Never a doubt. Henna and Eveina, who have been touring in the United States and Europe together for nearly a decade, will face off for the Kansas City Wide Open Crown. She's got the putter in the hand. We'll see if she goes pureheiser. If she tries to go flat, land it soft. Again, if you come in hiser, you're skipping. You're looking back at the basket. lands it on the top of the green and it's going to roll out to the backside outside the circle. Havalina >> much flatter >> soft and on the green. She's going to have a tap in for the birdie. Henna with another massive pressure putt coming up. >> It's a slight tailwind out in the fairway, but it shouldn't be anything where she's at. Pick out a link, jam it home >> to push it to the next hole. >> No, she does stay safe. Eveina still has to make the putt, >> but she's too close to miss >> to complete an eight-stroke comeback and win the Kansas City Wide Open. Eveina Salinin does the improbable. >> Your grippy Q. 44th Kansas City Wide Open presented by Nexus Disc Golf FPO champion Eveina Solin. >> We are here off to the side of hole one with our 44th Kansas City Wide Open champion, Eveina Salinon. Eveina, what did you think about that round? >> It was crazy. I decided I'm giving giving everything today. So, I gave it and I was a little bit mad missing short on hole 17, but gave my everything and yeah, happy to take it down. >> What were you thinking when you stepped up to this approach shot, knowing that if you put it close, it was going to give you a chance to win. >> Actually, I thought Henna's disc was closer than it was. It looked like from there. So, I just decided I have to put it close that I can make that putt. It's terrible feeling to play against your friend friend and we have never been in playoff together. So, it was tough, but I'm traveling with Henna and Silva and they both have wins now. So, I had had to take it. Hi, I'm Eveino Salon. Thank you for watching the Disc Golf Pro Tour on YouTube.
